WEEK OF DOOM- Dr. Doom is Dead.. LONG LIVE DOOM 2099!!
In honor of a week of DOOM, I present to you scans of Doom 2099. More specifically, Doom 2099 #1.

You want an ongoing of Dr. Doom? Doom 2099 delievered the goods for forty-four issues during the 90s. Honestly though, out of all of them, only forty of them actually where great (I wasn't really fond of the last handful of issues with this version of Doom traveling to 616 fighting his "past" self, all to save Latervia, and then dealing with the aftermath of that all).

Still, there are numerous great moments in this series. But to start off with my entry into Doom Week I'll be posting where it all began with some hooligans getting into trouble and of course running into:

Damn what an entrance. So Doom see's the current ruler of Latervia, Tiger Wylde. Of course due to his arrogance, Doom isn't prepared for Tiger Wylde being a cyborg whose tech can take the energy of one's armor and feed it back till it fries.

Curiously when Wylde unmasks Doom his face is healed. So Wylde then decides to be a fanboy deciding, "That's no good. Doom has to be disfigured!" And then proceeds to fry his face disfiguring him again. Bored Wylde orders Doom's still living body desposed of.

However, these events are witnessed by Wylde's gypsy fortune teller named Fortune (how aptly named). She is also from the same clan Doom once was of, the Zefiro. So once Doom is healed by the gypsy mystic they begin plotting the downfall of Tiger Wylde. But to do so, Doom needs a new set of armor. Using one of the various stockades of weaponry he hid throughout the plains of Latveria, Doom travels to South America where a Pixel cyber-neurology department is located. Doom and his associates lay seige to the place forcing the Doctors to make him new armor. Which leads us to here:

Next time I post, I'll just cut to the chase and post Round 2 with Tiger Wylde which happens in Doom 2099 #4.
