Hi, I'm a Deadpool and you're a DC... wait... that's not right... Many of you are probably already familiar with randomguy's "I'm a Marvel and youre a Dc..." line of stop motion action figure awesomeness. I was delighted to find out he now owns a Deadpool figure...
Here's a link to the video if you want to comment on the creators youtube page as well. He deserves tons of comments for being made of so much awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1R5PhReY5k And here's a scan for legality...

Deadpool makes everything fun. So, how was he in the movie, I haven't seen it yet?
Pretty damn awesome until (spoilers) they sewed his mouth shut, gave him Cyclops-eyes, and cut off his head. Um, supposedly there was an extra scene with him being alive or something, but they varied from movie to movie and mine wasn't that one. No fourth-wall-breaking or Bea Arthur or gravelly Demi Moore voice, though.
The answer to your "supposedly" is a yes, according to people I've talked to.
You have to wait after the credits for extra Deadpool goodness.
Only for some though. Others get a rather lame extra scene with Wolverine.
Which is the ending I got when I saw it. I wanted Deadpool. *Pouts in corner*
Wait--you mean that different prints of the movie have different endings? Kind of like alternative comic covers for the completist? That... is just fucked up. Nice going, geniuses--that approach worked so well for Clue.
Not different endings, just different 'after credits' extras. Though yeah, it's a little fucked up.
I agree with you after your spoilers warning-- but I didn't think he was "awesome" before that. Ryan Reynolds is okay, but he wasn't NEARLY manic or even expressive enough for me. And then, yes, batshit nuts plot/end...
It was bittersweet. RR could have NAILED Wade/Deadpool but the script/director wouldn't let him off the leash.

Considering Raven Software WANTS to make a Deadpool game? If they can get him to voice him in the game...
Oh boy oh boy oh boy.
if a Deadpool movie is made, I hope they let him loose. I read an MTV interview where he talked about how he'd like to have musical numbers and yellow boxes.
I think the ending does actually open up the possibility of motormouth insanepool, plus some fun with the XTREM redesign he was given, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Really? That'd be awesome.
The answer is a yes. I just saw the movie. Would have been super great if it wasn't for the Deadpool debacle... at least I knew about it and was mentally prepared before hand.
Wade was adorable and badass. Then at the end they tried to make him the final boss but after the credits he was thier to tease us.
I liked what Ryan Reynolds said in an interview about how they couldn't be totally true to Wade's character because this was his origin story. That make sense to me anyway.
I think Ryan did the best he could under the circumstances. Pre Baracapool was quite great. I like the idea that Wade's smartassness is inherent to his character, only the crazy made it worse.
If we ever do get a Deadpool movie (I'm surprised we haven't gotten an animated direct video one) it'll be because of Reynolds.
My favorite one yet.
Also the one "naked blue guy" joke I have ever laughed at. Heh.
I was howling with laughter from that point on. "I'm a Marvel and WHOA!" *cut*
Heheheh, I must say that was pretty brilliant, especially the Dr. Manhatten bit.
Randomguy is cool. I hope he reuses Deadpool but doesn't overdo it - frankly, I like the guy best in small doses.
SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Also, best Marvel/DC EVER. Thanks for the link, I keep forgetting to subscribe to that guy's channel.

Motto, and I'm shocked that no one else seems to be reacting this way. What's with all the "ho-hum, rather amusing, yes" reactions? I was *dying,* and I don't even really like this guy's videos usually! I mean, they're amusing, yeah, but this was magnificent!
Motto squared -- I found his first videos amusing but usually didn't find them all that funny. But he gave Deadpool an EXCELLENT voice, it was very well acted, and the writing was spot-on to the funny version we all love.
And THAT'S going to be Deadpool's voice in my head from now on.

Ok. I'll be "that guy".
I'm burnt out of Deadpool and I no longer find him funny. At all.
Still, the video was amusing on its own right.
Motto.
I'm not really a Deadpool fan, except for Joe Kelly's version, but this was funny...mostly because it shows how funny characters trump sucky ones.
Best part:
Deadpool: "Hi, I'm a marvel (looks over at Dr. Manhattan) WOAH!"
...Does anybody else really want a Rorchach and 'Pool sicom now? |
