Adventure Comics Content Revealed (SPOILERS for Lo3W #4)
So while DC announced a new Adventure Comics title months ago they've kept the contents of the book a (somewhat) mystery. They've finally revealed the contents at there blog the Source.

Adventure Comics is a new ongoing for the recently resurrected Superboy written by Geoff Johns with art by Francis Manapul. It will also have a LoSH back-up feature according to Johns'.

I was going to let loose with a "What, ANOTHER Supercomic?" Until I remembered that Superboy has a bit of a history with Adventure Comics.

Just the same, so do a lot of really good features, and it would be nice if they used this to feature more stuff, rather than it just being Superboy by another name. Adventure was one of the last of the "___ Comics" titles from DC to hold onto being an anthology, and the 70s through the 80s was kind of cool for it. I'm including the digests: for one thing, at first they featured a lot of good and previously-unpublished Don Newton Shazam(with Kid Eternity) and the reprint selection was very well-chosen--seemed like more care was taken with that one than their other digests.

And can I say I kind of miss non-Archie digest anthologies? (And tabloid-size as well)Just sayin'.

I love how happy Krypto looks to have Kon back. My dog has the exact same expression every time I come home.

And I'd love to see more Kara and Kon interaction. And no, not the "kissin' cousins" type (though I admit my mind went there). Something along the lines of them interacting in their secret identities.

And poor Tim. With Steph, Bart, and Kon back, he only has his parents'death left to fuel his mopeyangstybastardness. And should he go back to wearing green on his costume now that the guy he's wearing red and black for is alive?

	Cool art, but I still don't like Connor's "T-shirt and Jeans" outfit. I liked it better when he looked like he was wearing a costume, instead of clothes off the rack. ...or at least give him back his leather jacket. Damn I miss that. (Reply to this)
