Johns has already shown that he doesn't understand emotions or color. All this is, is an attempt to use the "four-elements" motif that worked in SWAMP THING(and was built further in Delano's ANIMAL MAN with "the Red") on the GLC. Thing is, that in the end all you end up with is lists, classification and organization, but not drama. This was kind of interesting when it was just the GLC vs. the SC--more drama, more personal motives, and a genuine moral question, which was two different philosophies of bringing order to the universe, which had certain resonances to the real world.

This is becoming more like a role-playing module, and that's when I'm off the bus.
