3.5 (or thereabouts) pages from Marvel Zombies 4 #1
Way way back, in prehistoric times (that is to say, about 6 months ago), several pages from Marvel Zombies 3 #1 were posted.... 2 things stood out enough to get a lot of comment - Zombie Deadpool was flippin' hilarious, and nobody was quite sure how getting covered in puree of Undeadpool failed to infect Jennifer Kale.

We'll start with the lack of infection...originally, it was pretty much just waved off as 'well, we're not really sure how the infection WORKS, so there may be something stopping it from taking hold here'.

Well, now we are sure...and we were right.

Pureeing something tends to aerate it pretty good, so that'd stop the virus.

But, as badass as Mikey is here, I know everyone's clamoring for the Undeadpool scenes.

So, EdWade the Head is travelling with Simon Garth: Zombie (why is explained in the pages below), and Simon introduces him to a new friend. They hit it off immediately.

Or, you know, not.

Thus ends the high point of their friendliness.

It's no zombie vampire, to be sure, but you gotta love that last panel.

There is more awesome in the main plot (wherein Morbeus and the new Midnight Sons - he, Jack Russell: Werewolf By Night, Jennifer Kale, and Hellstorm: Son of Satan try to stem the zombie invasion into the 616 universe), but the random Undeadpool is worth the price of admission, and doesn't run up against the page limits.

[Edit - oops, almost forgot, if you're wondering who Simon and 'Pool's new buddy is, he's This dude. Now, imagine they'd met him in THAT costume...]

	It IS with the Chicken Headdress, in fact, but I don't actually have it at the moment, nor am I really in a position to get it. This makes me sad, as it was from one of my favorite runs of Deadpool (at least until it really got into the 'Is Wade the REAL Wade' thing). (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Holy guacamole! That was awesome! Who's writing this? And why can't they write regular Deadpool? Wasn't Aaron Stack in this one? Is there a possiblity of the two meeting? 	Fred Van Lente, who also wrote MZ3 (which is where Aaron Stack starred - this one's going to feature Morbius and his new Midnight Sons). I'd have to reread to be sure, but I don't THINK Aaron and Undeadpool met. And FVL would be great to write Deadpool. Or anyone else. (Reply to this) (Parent)
