Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner
Just a scene I loved while reading Kyle Rayner's time as the only Green Lantern

We should use this to brainwash Didio into giving Kyle his own series. Hey, it's already been approved by Batman. And that still matters right? Even though the man himself is dead?

It matters even more, because now Kyle can get all angsty about it!

No, it would just mean another improbable candidate in "Battle for the Cowl"

Forget Batman becoming the Bat Lantern, now I'm going to become the Green Batman!

Technically, Kyle does have his own series now. ...Okay, he has to time-share with the rest of the GL Corps, but HE's the reason I buy the title.

Awww so cute. I really like the colours. Thanks for posting it! Btw, which title is it? I'd like to pick it up if I can.

Their old Green Lantern pages. From before GL: Rebirth

It's also in the Emerald Knights trade. It's out of print though, so you may have trouble finding it. Try authorized sellers on BarnesandNoble.com or something like it.

Ummm... wasn't Hal a founding member of the JLA and Bats a member of the second batch of heroes to join along with Ray, Ollie, and Supes?

This happened shortly after Hal had given his life to stop the Suneater. Kyle accidentally brought a Hal Jordan from over ten years earlier to the present. It's that Hal, that was offered a place in the current day JLA

Batman is the last person who should be pointing fingers in regards to tragic events pushing someone into madness.

Indeed. Instead, he became Batman

Actually, in Batman's head his history would probably make him the FIRST person who should be pointing fingers in regards to tragic events pushing someone into madness.

13 comments and not one of them so far is some crack about the fact that Batman was watching an attractive young man sleep in the nude and then told him to be quiet?

For shame, SD, for shame.

It was too easy, would have felt too much like shooting whales in a teacup.

Sure it's a sweet scene, but the pointy things on Bats' shoulders are too damn distracting.

But DAMN Kyle you sure have a fiiiine bod there. To bad it's lethal.

You know what I wish had happened? While Kyle looks away, he also secretly throws a forcefield up on the window.

"Thanks, you don't know how much that means t-*THUD* Huh? Batman? Were you trying to sneak out?"

"...no."
