Superman v2 #130
Hi! This is my first post to this scans_daily, though I posted to the first version (*sniff*) a couple of times before.

As requested, Clark Kent and Lois Lane dressed as Batman and Robin, respectively, for a Halloween party in Superman #130.

Well, the government frowns on that sort of marriage, lately.

And I love the terror Bruce inspires when he's not even there.

This will have a special place in my heart, right next to Natasha Stark. :D

I once walked into my 5th year class without my glasses once, and no one, ever my teacher, recognised me. They thought I had gone to the wrong class, and it took some convincing that it was actually me. Yeah, glasses really do throw people off. O_o;

I figure they recognized Lois as Robin, and surmised that the Batman she was with would be Clark.

Lois is rather more recognizable, even with the domino mask, and that narrows down the identity of her companion a lot (see the dialogue, even).

Clark's appalled, and terrified, reaction is worth it's weight in gold. But it's not Bruce I'd be worried about, it's Dick. At least Batman showed up as the right gender.

Dick HAS got a sense of humour, but that just means his prank attack back will be a lot more... creative.

I don't know. Dick would have to direct the prank at Lois instead of Clark, and that's far more dangerous. He'd probably just say "well played."

Hahaha! Thanks a heap for posting, this is why I read comics (well, not the sole reason, but a big one), the interactions between these marvelous characters. I love how Clark is so paranoid about Batman, and subtext is actually quite funny and clever.

And um, Lois, yes....Lois....

Thank you so much for posting this! Parts of this issue were some of the first things I ever saw on old S_D, years ago. *sniff* Brings back memories.

My, Lois fills out that Robin costume, doesn't she? Pictures of Robin!Lois would confuse Tim's sexuality to no end.

I think the only thing that would freak Clark out more that Bruce finding out, is Bruce finding out and offering an actual Batman costume for Clark to use. And possibly a real Robin outfit for Lois.

You just know Lois made up for Clark's discomfort with kinky sex that night.
