Meanwhile, the assembled delegates of the United Nations wonder why Prince Namor is so late for the meeting he requested...

Did...the collar actually do anything? Or is Namor just bound by some strange Atlantian honor thing? No one knows!

It had a nametag with "Scraps" on it from the previous owner and a message saying; "The wearer of this collar is the property of Doom! He likes to have his tummy tickled and be scratched behind the ear" etched into it.

That's right... ETCHED! Who could argue with an etching like that?

I wonder how many people wish that Dr. Doom would come and take them away from all this. And then put a slave collar on them.

Apart from the terse writing, that story was somehow more Marvel-like (and by the same token, less Electric Company-like) than I would have expected from that comic. Er, if you know what I mean? But I see this was a fairly late issue in the run.

The other thing I never would have expected was that cameo by old Sub-Mariner supporting character Tamara! So this must be all the way back to that improbable time when Bill Everett and Steve Gerber were collaborating on Namor...

Doom using a familiar nickname like "Spidey" just seems wrong somehow.

Namor didn't want to rule the world with me. He was sending all the signals!? Must Doom be alone forther? Maybe there is no such thing as love...

Mood: Wondering why I bother :(
Location: Latveria :)
Current Music: Love hurts :(((

Seriously, Doom is so deep in the closet he's finding Christmas presents.

Does anyone have the issue with "the Can Crusher" ????

I am a little disappointed, or impressed (I can't decide) by the devastating sea monster summoning a sea shell that goes "Toot" when you blow it... That's hardly the sound I would have expected.
