News on Cass post-Battle of the Cowl

First, from DC Nation,

Here they say that Cass will,
a) Cass will be in Gotham Streets (so she'll be written by Paul Dini, Yay!)
b) Cass will not die
and pretty much also c) she will not be in the Batgirl title.

Dini will also be writing the Harley, Selina and Ivy team-up book, 'Gotham Sirens', which I'm also pleased about.

Secondly, from the DC Panel at the WonderCon,

Huh, so presumably she either has a new superhero identity, or... she's gone evil again.

Either way I await it with interest.

You know, from the last issue of Batgirl, before OYL, that was kinda the impression I thought they'd go - have her give up being Batgirl, and try to carve her own, non-costumed-hero identity for herself. And I might have dug it then, even though I'd have been a bit disappointed that she wasn't Batgirl anymore.

But first they had to go with the crappy OYL story where she turned evil and learned to read Navajo, and constistently got a lack of respect from both writers and editors, and when you combine that with the probable return of Babsgirl, I'm not interested anymore in that line, at least not enough to buy the books.

	The only legitimately way I can see her not being Batgirl is if Todd ends up as Batman and she decides the only way to stay loyal to the Bat-ethos is to not follow where it's going. If you get what I mean. (Reply to this) (Parent)
