Big Barda vs. Knockout!

This is from Birds of Prey #104, #106, and #107. It's written by Gail Simone and illustrated by Nicola Scott.

In #104...

Then, in Birds of Prey #106...

And, in #107...

And finally...

My god do I HATE that cover. Look at Barda's boobs, that looks PAINFUL.

On Apokolips, they relish such pain.

She's not even wearing that costume inside the comic.

No, but she wore it in an earlier issue.

Yeah, so?

I'm not allowed to bitch about the costume now? :P

No, I was agreeing with you about the cover by pointing out another flaw.

I love the cover despite the random cleavage. It would be a perfect cover if it weren't for that, but it's still very nice.

That's a lot like what my breasts look like when I'm wearing a badly-fitting push-up bra. ...I try not to let that happen, because, you know, it looks stupid, but it does happen.

Why Barda is wearing a badly-fitting push-up bra, and where the chestplate of her armor went, is another question entirely. Wacky misunderstanding about traditional Earth battle-gear combined with an unexpected fight with the amazing Instant Rust Woman?

It actually looks like the chestplate is too small for her uh, breasts. So they get pushed inwards and spill over the top. That's why I don't like it.

How does Knockout fight with such tiny hands and broken wrist...?

Well as for the broken wrist that I can explain. I knew an actor/acrobat who broke his arm in a stunt during a play's performance and continued the rest of the play like that.
