Technically speaking, there would be liability waivers, presumably the parents didn't read the contracts very carefully when the students were signed up for school.

i.e. The school takes no responsiblity in case your child has his/her/its limbs cut off, gets sucked into hell, is attacked by terrorists, sent into space, turned into a baby, stars in a reality TV show, etc.

But Xaviers wasn't even a real school. They had, what, two certified teachers at most?
