Wait wait wait. If Dagger isn't a mutant and they're letting her in then they have no right to say no to Deadpool now. The biggest excuse they had for not letting him be an X-Man was because he wasn't a mutant. Just because they don't like him isn't a reason to turn away someone who's actually trying to help and has the skills to back that up now that they're letting non-mutants in. Especially since if you're nice to Wade he generally clings and doesn't let go as long as you don't cross him. And even then, given time, he CAN forgive. IE Cable and his divorce.
I know he's Deadpool, but Way (This is still Way, yes?) just keeps showing that he's more or less totally ignoring the Cable and Deadpool run. Cyclops helped Deadpool do the right thing and save Weasel from getting killed by Wolverine. Sure, Scott did it more for Cable, but he didn't have to help at all. He may not have cared for Deadpool but he cared that Cable cared. This is starting to REALLY get on my nerves, not even including hallucinations and the white box. I see no reason for him to have gone from "I won't kill people unless I REALLY have to and I'll try to be a hero and WOW I HAVE FRIENDS AND A LITTLE BIT OF RESPECT FROM HEROES" to "LAWL DEADPOOL VISION WHITE BOX KILL EVERYTHING NO ONE LIKES ME AGAIN" Sure he's been having some great moments in this run, but it doesn't make sense to have such a sudden character change. I'm still holding out some hope that it gets explained one day, but then again I'm always optimistic about characters I love no matter how badly they're written or screwed over.
Plus Logan OWES him. He cut Deadpool's head off in said 'saving Weasel from Wolverine' bit just because he was there AND stiffed him on the bill in his setting up Daken scheme. Jerk. HE'S GOING TO LIVE AS LONG AS YOU DO LOGAN. YOU SHOULD JUST MAKE NICE ALREADY.
