I haven't slept this much since my last regeneration. So much for the god of sleep.

I apologize for my behavior of late. I've been a little out of my mind. To be fair, I've always been that way, but more so these past few weeks.

Hi guys and ladies. I'm Captain Jack Harkness and I'll be heading up our team for this mission. I'd like for us all to meet at 0800 (8am) at the training grounds so we can go over the information as have so far, get to know each other, and get some practice in. Grab a light breakfast before you arrive, but I'll also have coffee and donuts for us.

Looks like I'm in charge of one of the teams for the new mission. I'm not sure yet what day and time we'll be heading out, but I'll keep in touch if I can.

Why are all my Companions leaving? One by one. I'm starting to feel like it's a conspiracy. Who's next? Jack? Koschei? Or maybe one of the new friends I've made since I arrived?

Wiki says Rick and Morty are supposed to a parody of that time travel movie with that Delorean, but Rick's resemblance to me is so uncanny that I have to wonder. Binge watched both seasons of that, then went on to watch all of Stranger Things - is there anybody in Atlantis from that show? That was creepy. After that, for some comedy I tuned into a few historical documentaries so I can laugh at what they got all wrong.

I'm going to watch my Christmas Special next. Why not? I'll get to see what happens in my future.

I need a favor: You lot who are good with technology and tinkering, I need to figure out a way to get my chronal accelerator charging before the battery runs down. Normally, I've got a device for charging it, but it didn't come with me.

It keeps me firmly anchored in time, so it's just a bit necessary. And I'd really appreciate the help.

Gene and Alex are throwing a private New Years Eve party, and said I could invite others. It'll be a far more private gig than the huge one the city will probably have, and you won't have to worry about dodgy food and drink.

There will be music, and probably dancing. If you do that sort of thing.

I think last evening might be the best Christmas I've had since Molly's first. It was completely unexpected and wonderful.

I got engaged last night. (And Gene got his car.)
