I just wanted to add my recommendation to the official reports. Miss Vance has shown herself a excellent agent. In addition to her prior experience, I can personally vouch for her being cool under fire, adaptable, and skilled in deduction. She will do well on your team.

I've no intention of making any major changes to Director Keysanworth's methods. I'll be working through the reports he left this week, but if there are any urgent needs or particular projects I should be aware of right away, do let me know.

It appears I've been promoted out of the field and over the Magic Department, so that's one less reason for you to worry.

Since you're staying, I got you a housewarming present. It's an aloe vera. I figured it's attractive and useful, and not too high maintenance if your team gets sent on a mission.

I was looking for a housewarming gift for Temple, and I picked up a few extra houseplants. This one looks nice and cheerful, and it's supposed to make a good tea for stress. I thought it might look nice in your place, if you have room for it.

I went to the nursery and went a bit overboard. Would you like a houseplant? It's a marigold, nice and pretty, and calendula is good for lotions if you wanted to try.

I don’t have to tell any of you how much I don’t want to go back to Mount Weather. I know none of us really wants to, but I will tell you that a lot of the people going are people I would trust with my life. They’re good people. If we have to go, I’m glad we have that much, at least.

It means a lot to know I’ll have all of you there in this. Thank you.

I know we haven’t had much time together yet. I’d like to see about changing that when I get back from this mission. If I haven’t said so, I’m glad you decided to stay.
