Well. I'm proud to say I now know how to make tortilla chips. We may be having a lesson soon for my home economics students.

Today, however, we're going to have a fairly tale theme. I've been in the mood for some reading. It's been ages since I read The Fountain of Fair Fortune or Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump. My son Ron loved that one when he was a little boy.

We've found that some of them have actually got "cures", ticks to figuring out what makes them manageable or going away. I don't know why I suddenly felt like I could do this, but I bloody DID it. And they're amazing. I made wee cakes! I even made macarons. Do you know how many fights I've gotten into with macarons? My da loves them but every time I've tried to make them, they've been flat little disasters with no shine. Look at all these beauties.

So, hey. Longest nap in existence. The nightmare/fear thing held true on our end, too.

And waking up, mine feels kind of ridiculous. I've had a pretty longstanding fear of not being good enough, or being rejected by everyone. I can't fly, I'm not the most brilliant at magic, I grew up under a shadow that I blamed a lot of people for - and that wasn't fair of me. It isn't my parents fault I felt inferior to bloody well everyone. They've never been anything but brilliant at home - and here I've got loads more family to get to know. I've got the world's best mate, there and here, and I'm - I'm good. I'm lucky.

So from now on I'm gonna try to be more open and honest and less down on myself. If you catch me doing it, nudge me or something.

Still not going to play Quidditch. But I am gay, so if you need help designing outfits... Don't ask me, I only like green and grey.

To-Be-Named Team Four, I'm Harry Potter and I'm your Quidditch Captain!

So. I'm gonna admit, it's been a while since I've actively ran a real Quidditch team past playing around with mates, so we're all on a fairly level playing field here. I plan on organising some one-on-one sessions for anybody who's brand new to flying and Quidditch if you want or need them - just ask me, okay? I'm an incredibly chilled out captain and you should all be glad you're not thrown into the Dragon's jaw by Oliver Wood with murderous bludgers.

That being said, we need to pick team colours. And a mascot. I would like to humbly suggest a dragon or a hippogriff because both animals are badass, but I'm willing to take a vote. I'm also always going to be loyal to the colours red and gold.

So, itinerary:

- One-on-one sessions to get everybody on a level playing field.
- Test games against each other! I want everybody to at least give other positions a go so you understand where you lay in relation to your teammates and playing other positions gives you an idea of how your actions can affect others. Beaters, this is particularly important - pay attention to where you hit shit.
- Teambuilding exercises. Yes, those. I don't know some of you at all and some of you are from my world's past/future one of you is my son's best friend who is like, my age, this is so we and being a solid team is super important. I'm not going to underestimate the other teams and I don't want any of you to do that either. Oliver might have nearly got me killed a few times, but he is one of the best captains I've ever seen and I'll bet that half of the people who haven't even played Quidditch have an affinity for it, so. I just want to make sure we're the best we can be.
- Notice that you can kick me in the ass if you ever think I'm being a dick or taking things too seriously. It is a game and we do have other jobs to do, but. I really want to win.

When is everybody free? Does anybody have any questions, by the way? We're going to cover everything you need to know about the game in training, but I'm happy to answer any questions you have now.

Hey Sports Fans (and primarily Quidditch fans)! You've seen the signup sheets for the last month or so, and many, many of you have signed up. Those of us working on it (Katie, Benjy, take a bow) are pleased to see such an overwhelming response.

We've gone through all the signups and created a league of 8 teams. You can find the team rosters HERE. Check in with your team captains to introduce yourselves if you don't already know each other. Those captains will be responsible for scheduling practices on the pitch. We'll sort out a start date once all our pals are back from that mission they're all on, but practice can start whenever you're ready.

All right, Captains! You're responsible, as noted above, for getting your teams to practice and keeping them happy. Think of it like a School Simulation, you have to keep them motivated and operating towards a common goal. Don't bring your problems to me if you can't get them to behave. Swap them out with an reserve if they're not a team player.

You also get the FUN job, though. Come up with a team name. And team colors. And a mascot. Fun is best, but dumb will make me frown. Please don't make me frown.

Scorpius and I both have birthdays this week, and you don't really have to get us gifts or anything, but everybody can join us at the LG Trocution tonight for dancing and shots.

This thing keeps changing my usual greeting to watcher so I guess I'll just say hello. Teddy said I should introduce myself here and showed me how to use this thing. Pretty ace! I'll take it over parchment and ink, yeah? Clean, and I can just erase mistakes. I like it.

Call me Tonks. Just Tonks. The directory here shows a lot of names I recognize and a lot I don't, but since I'm a mum now I need to socialize good and proper. I got here today, apparently in the middle of some kind of situation where some of your men are gone a bit mad? Not my doing, I promise. I'll be working as a Detective, which sounds a bit more descriptive than Auror, but I'll take it.

I'm me again. Nobody drink anything that Scorpius touches, okay? It's temporary, and it's NOT his fault, but he can't control it. If ANY of you give him shit, I'll hex you to We think it's just drinks and maybe food, and something about starting anew.

Haven't the foggiest idea where I am or why I'm here, or how I ended up here in the first place, but I've met the most beautiful woman in the world and I need to know where a guy can find a bouquet quickly at this time of day.

There's something the matter with Albus. I don't know what exactly - he came over this morning and after a tea and chat he dozed off for a bit but when he woke up, he was acting... distant? Kind of cautious? But not that cautious because HE KISSED M I know it doesn't sound like terribly over-the-top behaviour but I KNOW HIM and this was very odd!

Can you please check up on him through the day? He's been under a lot of stress lately so maybe I'm blowing things out of proportion but honestly I'm not and you should be worried too. Thank you!

Don't forget everyone - today is Pegasus Riding Lessons, so if you're interested in taking a selfie (did I use that phrase right) on top of a pegasus, be sure to come by the stables (although thinking on it, don't take a selfie on a pegasus, because who would be holding on to the reins? No one would).

Oh, and by the way, after some training today is my first day working in Communications, so you'll see a lot of me posting about fun happenings around Atlantis from here on out!

Plant a magic bean, think about how much you miss your greenhouse, and wake up to it sitting in the backyard. I like how this place works sometimes. If anybody has an interest in magical plants, let me know. Don't, uh, don't just go in there. Some of the plants are poisonous. And a few of the ones in the back are just plain tetchy.

I'm about a 6.7 on a freakout scale, with 10 being actual meltdown, and no one needs a meltdown on their hands, so I thought I'd address the problem head-on: I had Christmas presents for most of you at home! Well, at least those of you that I knew, and those of you who talked to me and those of you I'd like to talk to me. They were all very thoughtful presents and I actually started shopping in July, because preparation is half the battle, but now Atlantis happened - which I'm not resentful of; this is amazing! - but it means that your presents are at home and I had a very limited window to replace them here, and then, some of you don't even KNOW me yet here because you're from the past, and so I don't even know if you want presents from me to begin with! Or if they'll be happily received?

At any rate, this is a brief (shut it, this is 100% brief for me) apology if your present seems a little vague or not thoughtful or... you know, like a candle... that I'm sorry and I tried. Okay. They're candles. You're all getting candles. Candles that I thought smelled nice. I DID in fact try to match you to scents I thought you might like. I'm sorry. Did I ruin Christmas? I hope not. Surely the power of Christmas is more powerful than a bunch of (thoughtfully curated) candles??

Hi. I'm Teddy. I hear I've been here before but I don't remember it, so hopefully you lot are alright with reintroducing yourselves. If not, well. I don't blame you.

Hello, everyone! My name is Scorpius Malfoy, and I'm one of the new people that came through yesterday. I must admit, everything went a lot smoother than I would have anticipated - not because you're not capable or anything! - but because I've always read that Atlantis was fictional or a myth or the ruins of an older, more-advanced civilization beyond what we would be able to recognise, but everything seemed in tip-top shape yesterday. I've already found Albus, and I found my room (hello, Marina and Rebecca!), and I think I've got my job sorted so-- there was only this part left.

Am I supposed to write a little bit about myself? I hate this part. You already know my name, which let's be honest is usually the first thing to go wrong I was Sorted to Slytherin House and was Head Boy my last year, I like Quidditch a lot, I'm a big reader and there's honestly not an embarrassing genre of pop music that I haven't enjoyed listening to. Once I discovered pop music, I mean. I know so many of you from home (or know of you), but Albus says that a lot of you are younger so you won't know me, but that's fine. I don't mind starting again from the beginning. And besides, now you won't remember the time I walked into a glass door that I thought was open at the post-graduation luncheon.

As for my job, I'll be brokering announcements as to what's happening in Altantis proper, such as promotions or special events. It sounds very exciting; I've definitely never had my finger on the pulse of social things, or a had much of a social life at all, so um... I'll see you around!
