I'm looking for volunteers for research regarding the testing of and implementation of a restorative serum from my world that will affect my powers. My job is to try to utilize my powers (pain, and removal of) on you while under various doses of said serum. Your job is to give me a quantifiable number describing the sensation and/or lack thereof.

Before we get started, I'll need to run a few tests to get an idea of your pain tolerance and sensitivity. At no point will I produce any amount of pain in you more intense than a persistent headache (around 3-4 on the pain scale out of 10), and the pain will dissipate as soon as you quantify it. Likewise, all numbness I produce in you will be temporary. I understand that this will be uncomfortable, but it's for a good cause, and all you people are heroes and should eat up good deeds like catnip.

No one under the age of 21. No one with active reoccurring pain such as a badly-healed injury or arthritis. I won't pay you, but I might spring for doughnuts. Please leave me a comment here with questions or to volunteer. I have one open spot (Leonardo da Vinci, Penny Adiyodi, Evie Frye).

I really hope this is just an Atlantis thing and I didn't accidentally fuck something up, because everything I dreamed last night seems to be bleeding into Atlantis. Like, literally. Sorry if you guys hate bubbles. I can't seem to make them go away.

Um, also, there seems to be a younger version of the twins running around. Kind of like astral projections or whatever - I saw them run right through a wall like it was nothing.

PLOT: ONE CHARACTER EACH had rather vivid dreams the night before, the weirdest part some of them seem to be coming true today! Julia dreamed she was in the park making bubbles with the twins and today Atlantis is full of magical bubbles + there is an incorporeal version of Hope & El as 5 year-olds running around Atlantis today. Thanks to Andrea for the idea!

I'll be staying too, according to this official approval to my request to do so and the fact that all of my things have moved. Hello, new roommates -- Elena, Helen, and Betty, is it? I'll also be working in Atlantis as a therapist. I'll set up my office next week, but I'm happy to talk to anyone who may need it. I'm an empath, which is a fancy way of saying that I'm particularly good at helping people muddle through confusing emotions to figure out the root of them.

All of that is well and good, and I'm excited for it, but the most important part of this post is that my sweet old boy has finally joined me! Everyone, please meet Buck (or say hello again). He's a support animal, and he'll be hanging around my office for snuggles.

I've been in the past for slightly more than 24 hours and it's been a hell of an adventure so far. Luckily, most of my extended family seems to be around, not that being bored is ever an option in Atlantis. That much is true in any timeline.
