I know you've all seen the sunscreen vendors around Atlantis today, they're kind of hard to miss. If you haven't read it yet, take a look at Caroline's post which has a lot of good information in it. I spent some time talking to a couple of the vendors and got a bunch of samples of different varities so come by the park, I've set up a little table there and I'm passing out sunscreen. Even some for sensitive skin. So come and get it!

I hate weekends. They just keep getting worse.

Is it just me or does it feel like they just broke up the Beatles?

I've been enjoying listening to some of the things people have been saying today even if I don't have the slightest idea what half of it means. Actually, it's more than half.

I did go to the craft class today and learned how to make cards. I don't know if I'll ever actually make and send any but it was fun.

Well, at least nobody woke up today as some kind of weird aquatic animal. At least not that I've heard of so there is that.

I'm Natasha Romanoff, your Lieutenant Commander. One thing that I believe in is communication. If you're having a problem, you need to let someone know because you can't fix something if you don't know what it is and our teams are small enough that if something is wrong, it can really screw up a mission.Talk to your team leader and if that doesn't resolve the problem, come to me. I believe in teamwork and I want us to be able to trust each other because without trust, someone can end up hurt or even worse, dead, when we're in the field.

Since I don't know all of you, I'd like us to have dinner together Thursday night if that's good for everyone. I'm not a very formal person so by dinner I mean pizza and beer at Stone. If that isn't a good time, we'll figure something out. Welcome to the team.

The weirdest thing happened to me today at lunch and I know saying something is weird around here doesn't necessarily mean anything snce it's always weird but still. I was at a salad bar and I put pecans on my salad. I couldn't eat them though because every time I tried, they screamed at me. Yes, pecans were screaming at me.

At least I know it wasn't just me because a couple of other people were having the same problem. So stay away from pecans today, I guess.

I have no idea what to wri I'd heard of Atlantis, of course, but I always thought there would be more togas. And volcanoes. A thank you to my new flatmates for making space for me. Kreacher will learn to behave more properly, and if he doesn't, he will be going home before the week is up. He's only calling you "foul monstrosities" because this is very overwhelming to him and he's never been around Muggles before. That makes two of u Let me know if his behavior continues to grate, and I'll fill his time with an adequate amount of chores.

Siri I hadn't written anything yet because of the holiday. I believe I've said 'hello' to most members of my extended family, but if I have neglected to do so, please let me know.

Hello, some of you know me and some don't. My name is Edmund Pevensie. When we were children, long before coming to Atlantis, my siblings and I traveled to and grew up in a world called Narnia. We lived and ruled there for fifteen years before returning to our own England. Back in England we joined with others who had also visited that world to form the Friends of Narnia for those who shared a love for and connection to our homeland. Of that group, four of us are here in Atlantis. That legacy is also yours, whether through family or through action.

Two years ago, COS launched an attack on our world of Narnia. They attempted to disrupt one of the keystones of Narnian history: the ending of the Hundred Year Winter and the return of Christmas. In doing so, they released a shade of one of Narnia's greatest enemies into Atlantis, the White Witch Jadis. All of you, whether you remember being here at the time or not, participated in that mission to set matters right, and as such, we would extend to each of you the title of Friend of Narnia. Long overdue, as it is, you are invited to a Christmas Eve gathering at the Old White Lion to thank you for helping to ensure that Christmas did indeed return to Narnia. I understand, if you have prior commitments, and I apologize that I have been so late in extending the invitation. For those of you who are able, I hope to see you tomorrow at 2pm.

I got you all stockings. Forgot I didn't need They're hanging up under the window. You don't have to keep them, but you never know. This seems like the kind of place Santa might visit.

If I were anywhere but Atlantis, I'd think I was going mad Atlantis has some wonderful opportunities, even if some of its pranks are more uncomfortably obtrusive than others. I'm very pleased to no longer be made of cheese, but peppermint lattes were a pleasant discovery, and I do enjoy the company.

Usually, when I think about fixing things (I'm a mechanic at the base), I think about getting under a Chevelle or an Impala. Learning the ins and outs of circuitry and technology has been interesting. But what I'm excited about?
