For all the trouble it causes, Atlantis still knows how to throw a party. I'm guessing I wasn't the only one who saw the leprechaun? I was really, really hoping for a pot of gold there.

This year has been a rough one so far, between losses and the fact that we are fighting a war being driven in too close to home, but I think that just makes it more important to hold on to the people you love for as long as you have and never take them for granted. No one is ever promised tomorrow in any life or time. Even the so-called immortal have ways of being killed. That threat of loss is always there, no matter how much we try to forget or deny it. That's why we have to make the most of the time we have.

It's a hard lesson to learn, but it seems Atlantis is as determined to teach it as my own world was.
