The new season premiered in the U.S. last night. This is a reaction post where you discuss the episode.

So, what did you think?

In the U.S. on the Sci-Fi channel, Sanctuary makes the second 13 episode season debut on October 9th.

Sanctuary is set for a US (possibly Canadian) return in October. No word for UK that I know of. There might be, but I've not seen it.

Since the premier was bumped back from this summer to October a few months ago, we are going to be without new Sanctuary for a while. This has inspired me.

Your Challenge: Lost time.

Scenario 1.) An abnormal has been asleep for a long time. Something happens and now they are awake. Times have changed the world that knew it is now gone. It is now wandering alone. How does Helen and her team meet it?

Scenario 2.) Your central character was trapped, either by some force or by their own abilities. During an excavation, they are freed. How much time has past? Is there still a Sanctuary?

Scenario 3.) This one is character specific. Will can't remember the past year. Last thing he does recall, he was about to examine a crime scene for the local PD. Dazed, he wanders in to the station and asks for Detective Kavanaugh. When the officer busts the Detective's balls about his 'ex-girlfriend' being there, Will thinks what happened in the past year might just be really important.

Scenario 4.) Helen is timeless. She's the one everyone thinks will be there to the end. Well, the end is coming, and she's long gone.

Most days in the Sanctuary are, if nothing else, exciting to say the least. There is always something going on. What if there is an ordinary day, as in ordinary in the outside world where nothing really interesting happens all the time. Ash is bored. Helen has a moment of peace. Will is able to take a breath. Henry can make those upgrades he's been thinking about. Big Guy...is his normal self.

Who breaks first? What is done to break the monotony?
