St. Margaret's: the OOC Community

So I am looking for plottiness for any of my girls(Kristen, Nicole, Delphine or Alyson) sorta been MIA lately mainly because I am a little lost as to what sort of trouble to have them get into. So any plotty-bits would be welcome!

Hey all! I’m not even sure how to tag this post, so I won’t. I have a new character who I’m working on who will be a cursed human. Part of his plot will be involving another new character who I need someone to play. The character will become a student, can be either male or female, and is from the distant past. Does that pique your curiosity yet? I ran the general plot idea past the mods, who gave their seal of approval. I’m hesitant to bring in my character without at least starting to plot with someone else about bringing in this other character too. I’m hoping there’s someone out there, old player or new, who might be wanting another character and might be interested by the idea of a student displaced in time. If you want to know more, reply here or drop box me and I can run the full plot idea (which isn’t much more than a starting off point) past you. Thanks!

Just an FYI.

The 'Party' at the bowling alley went off as planned, despite Kendra not attending. She'd already arranged everything, so it was just a matter of people showing and having fun. Even with the encouragement of Ash and Sumi, Kendra stayed at school and kept busy with study and research. But she encouraged them to go and have fun. There were also fresh baked cookies as promised, which she nipped up there in the morning before everything kicked off (taking a moment to explain to the manager that the original intent for the party had changed, but she thanked them for allowing her to throw it).

Hey everyone! I’m a little late returning to the game for the new school year, and there’s been a shit ton of posts gone up already. Which is great, don’t get me wrong! But I’m afraid I might’ve missed some things directed specifically at my characters?

It’s almost time for everyone to go home for the summer! But not everyone... And that’s the point of this. Mani here will be staying. I was wondering who else would be? Though it’ll be hiatus time, at the least I’d like to establish who he might be hanging out with, who he’d be befriending, who’d be rubbing him the wrong way, etc. And I would be open to threads here and there to help establish all that. I’d also think that others would also like to know who’s all around with their characters at school. So who’s staying in Maine for the summer?

So I am finally going to be posting a bit more regularly now, but I've also been out pretty much a full week and a half too. So there are some updates I need to make because some characters totes require them.

Going to try and get back to doing stuff today. I've apparently missed some sort of action, and I do intend on getting at least one of my characters involved in that if there's time to.

It may take a couple of days to get completely caught up though, so if there's something you're really needing me to hit up just let me know here so I know what's pressing.

Also if there's something that you want my characters to get involved in let me know here as well.

As for my characters, Fred has been spending a lot of time shut up in her room while she works out something. She will take time away to help out some of the Standard Hydras and she will likely be up for spending time with her friends, but most of her time will be spent obsessing over a problem she has, so if anyone wants to bug her or try and figure out what's up with her feel free to let me know.

Sumi is still just Sumi. She plays video games, hangs out in the woods, and volunteers at the animal clinic.

Katherine is practicing for the musical.

Cascada has been secretive with a few trips to the town and she also is looking to get closer to Alicia, so hit me up Digi :)

Therese is busying herself with the musical.

As I said before, I will be trying to get back into the swing of things starting today, but it might take a little time. I seem to be pretty far behind and I have some other work I need to get caught up on as well.

Plotty goodness? Or something.

So, Fen's muse has woken up a bit and is telling me there are some firsts she's gonna have to experience. There's no real rush on these (and in theory if her debt with Nat goes the way it's going she'll have more to worry about soon), but here are some ideas. Since there are and have been a lot of siblings and/or distant relations in the school lately, Lucia has proposed to the Editor in Chief of The Oracle that she publish a "relations" article with pictures of the individuals beside their relations.

She'll approach each of them for a photo op and then publish the entry with a small caption for explanation. And Khush will dig out a pic for each of them from Google, so if you want a say in what picture to use, speak now or forever hold your peace! And speak now if your character would not, for any reason, allow Lucia to take a picture. They'll be excluded from the issue.

I think I might even expand it to include teachers who have siblings, too. It'd be kinda fun for the students to see teacher relatives, and pretty interesting too, considering some of the staff have family that are long dead.

Hi guys! The game has ground down quietly during Winter Break, so let's use this post to plan and figure out new threads and plotlines! Post your characters below, and have it.

Sumi will be a bit nervous today. She is not exactly a huge people person, as has been displayed numerous times. This means that she will be nervous about the upcoming recital tonight. This also means that anyone who has the ability to be manipulated by her change of mood may have their mood reflect this nervousness if you want. I am by no means going to call anyone out to do this. I simply felt it would be something fun to mention if anyone wants to do it.

Edit: FYI, she is still unaware of this aspect of her power.

So, I've been dealing with PhD applications, and they're a bit of a nightmare because it's a lot of emailing and drafting and forms. I'm also in England, and while they had Black Friday here, I somehow missed the ball on getting my stupid brain to put up something for Natália. *facepalm*

The holiday season is a lot of cash flowing around, and as a greed demon, Nat wants that money! So she'd have been keenly listening to other students (and continues to listen to other students) who express a need of extra funds. Maybe they want to get something extra special for that extra special person! Maybe they saw a great deal for a video game or some clothing? Whatever it is, she'd offer to loan people money.

Any individual wanting to borrow would have to sign a contract, which seems generally harmless. It would list the money loaned and she would give a run down of when they would start paying her back, interest rate, and so on. However, those interest rates are high, and there are clauses about being able to use force are hidden within. All is fair to an extent, but sometimes fair isn't really all that nice. She would've started this when students started buzzing about Black Friday deals and holiday shopping.

So basically, I'm looking for people who may have gotten into or will get into contracts with her. Only students would be aware of this, and it could go down one of two ways: Nat is the one offering the loan or the student hears about the loans and approaches Nat. So hmu here if you are interested in getting your character tangled in a contract with a demon. ;D

P.S. The only people who know Nat is a demon are the staff and Davian. The latter is sworn to secrecy on it through a promise.

So I got stuff going for Kristen and Alicia. But I am looking for plotty bits for Nicole and Kimberly. Anyone interested in anything with them?

I don't have anything specific in mind. Though, would especially like some friends for Kimberly. Dunno why, but I have been having a really hard time getting going with her.

So just a little 411 on Pavel's collapse.

For everyone,

1) As clear it occurred in Self Defense class, which an oddly large number of people are taking so yay for that.

2) He was in the Infirmary from Thurs (whenever class was held) until Sunday, released Sunday late afternoon.

3) Any visitors he may have had he won't remember. He was mostly unconscious with brief moments where he's 'awake' but not coherent. He doesn't recall these moment.

For faculty,

1) Pavel came in with massive multi organ failure. Mr. Pheres managed to heal him, but after a little more than 24 hours the process seemed to start again (not nearly as bad as it was, because he was pretty far gone by the time it got here), so Mr. Pheres recommends that he visit every day until they can figure out what's going on to ensure it doesn't get worse.

2) If (when?) someone reaches out to his family, they will mention a family member who is like Pavel. They don't know what this could be, but he might.

General OOC info,

1) While no one knows exactly what's going on with Pavel right now. Either through research by teachers or by reaching out to Pavel's Uncle it's suspected it has something to do with his Fae Genes. His uncle would relate having similar issues when he'd had a 'dry spell' (no sex).

2) Yea, so Sex with a female, any species is required to 'cure' Pavel.

3) Long plot, somehow (whether through science or magic) someone will figure out that there's a hormone release by women during sex that the Gancanagh's bodies become dependent on and will find a way to synthesise it into pill form (or something).

I think that's all that's needed. I'll update if I remember anything else.

Sooooo I need a dude. Sasha is ~growing up~ and his demonic nature is going to start making its presence known over the course of the year. Right now I haven't really done much with it, but what better time to rouse those half lust demony feels than Halloween, amirite?

Anywho, I really just need a guy he can be a little suggestive towards. It doesn't matter whether it works out well or badly or awkwardly, I just want to get the ball rolling.

I promise there will be no restraining involved. Unless it's consensual.

Feel free to use this post to plan your own Halloween threads with other people. As a three year veteran of the game (yikes, three years already!) I find we stand a better chance at gaining plot from it when it’s planned. Take a risk and reach out!

I'm sorry for being gone for a bit. I just was in a strange mood and didn't want to annoy people while I figured out some things.

I am going to say I am mostly back. I will tag things and I will be responsive to messages; however, I am also working on something coming up. I am going to make sure to be as active as possible, but I'm going to go ahead and let everyone know that if I do not reply to something too quickly, it isn't because I am ignoring it, it is just because I am busy with this project.


I noticed there was some confusion about the plot I am running for Fred. I admit I could have been a lot more informative in that post, and I probably would have amended things last week if I hadn't had to step away for a bit.

Fred's mind is being tampered with a bit. She will likely be acting a little spaced out at first from time to time, but eventually this will become even more intense. There will even be times she is acting out of character.

I planned this plot in a way that I would not need assistance from other people. I planned it this way because I have had some plots that I had planned for months go to crap due to relying on people and then something screwing up and me having to recover quickly and sloppily. I am not blaming others mind you, that is simply how it happened. Most of the time the faults happened due to unforeseen circumstances, and I understand that entirely. It happens.

The invite for others to get involved was mostly just as a, I would be happy to rework some things to allow your character to be involved. This is a role playing game with a variety of players with an even more variety of characters in it, and sometimes people are looking for things for their characters to do. My offer was more of a, contact me and we can come up with something fun to do. I have already spoken to the owner of the person outside of Fred and a couple of NPCs that I needed, but I am always happy to play with anyone else.

I love you all, and hope that you and all those you love are doing well. :)

In the coming weeks, Fred is going to start seeming a bit off. This is because of the narrative. It won't start out as anything big. Maybe staring off into the distance like she's distracted by something, maybe forgetting she was supposed to do something. It will eventually get worse, but for now it's just small things.

If you are interested in getting involved with the plot feel free to talk to me. I do not mind getting more people involved in the plot.
