[You are in white space, floating gently on your back. It's comfortable and warm. The lassitude in the air seeps into your muscles, letting you truly relax. Pushed by something unseen, you rock gently in that empty space, as if floating on small, rolling waves.

Everything is calm and comfortable. What were you just doing? You can't quite fish up the memory but you have a vague, muted anxiety that it was important.

Something urges you quietly to just give it up, just forget.

[Lightning arcs through the air, spreading out just over the heads of the gathered blanks with deafening thunder. Where it strikes the walls the marble chips and cracks, leaving small craters dotting the pristine surfaces. The face of King's statue is contorted in plain displeasure. Each time you blink, his gaze falls on a different person.]

That is quite enough. Let's have no more of these childish shenanigans. My patience has worn thin enough already, blanks.

What: Ladies and Gentleman, we understand that you have come to bear witness to the sound of drums and bass.

[As you enter the arena today, it is like you have stepped into a gala floor. Round tables with black and white checkers are arranged in a semi circle around the southern corners of the room, leaving the vast majority of the marble floor open for dancing. Austere marble pillars break the expanse of the floor in neat rows, affording a couple a moment of privacy as needed. Against the east wall, a bar is set with several classy appetizers, and a single platter of ten shrimp next to a crystal punch bowl.

At the very end of the expansive room, a black marble stage has a band set up, and ready to play. Behind that, stretching up and up, is a regal black throne. No one sits on it yet.

The double doors close after the last of you with a certain finality.]

Welcome, my dear blanks. And welcome to your guests as well! Quite unexpected to see so many familiar faces again. It does bring back memories, doesn't it?

I do hope you'll find the festivities to your liking. I know we've had our differences in the past, but I've put quite a bit of effort into ensuring that everything goes perfectly. As long as everyone, and that does include the delightful guests you've brought along, stays on their best behavior, I think we'll get along quite nicely.

[This time, when the darkness comes, there is no warning. No flickering of the torches, no telltale dance of shadows. Night falls with the force of a hammer blow, cutting off sight and muffling sound in little more than the space between breaths.

This time, for the first time, the doors of the dorms do not lock.

And this time, after a time (how much? How twisted is it now, how long have you been in the dark?), faint in the distance yet close enough you know you could make it, it wouldn't be far . . . a pale grey light beckons, a warm breath of fresh, dry air calling you close.]

Anyone affected will be unable to wake, and teammates watching them sleep will note that they take physical damage during the dream- until, at the very end, the nightmare breaks and you wake up, completely healed and with your beds mysteriously covered in blood. Go crazy, guys. Troll your teammates. Shared dreaming is enabled if you want it, with as many people as you want it with. :|b))

[As everything comes to an end. The sound of something heavy being pushed away can be heard from one of the rooms still left standing.

If you wait long enough, one of the doors open just a crack and you can see someone peeking out. Then, disappearing and opening the door further this time.

The coast seems to be clear, or so Lotus thought as she stands in the doorway.

That's when the room behind her crumbles]

[Your... whatever it is right now, though it is probably buzzing with the excitement of seeing faces at home, and those considered lost stumbling back... is interrupted rather dramatically.

It sounds a bit like an earthquake, that thunderous rumble... but as it gets closer, you might notice that there's a rhythm too it. Louder and louder, faster and faster...

Almost out of no where, she appears, with ... Ash and a few pokemon on her back... and followed by three darting, speeding, flying hatchlings... They ignore all of the people on the ground, scrambling out of the way... they're not her goal... her goal is JUST enough space to get airborne... and at three times the length of the arena ... no other place would do...

Just at the far end of the cavern, Venna's wings snap open, their span almost too enormous to see in one look... and flaps. The gales are pressing, crushing, even the magical flames of the torches struggle desperately to stay lit, dust, dirt, rocks and boulders go flying as she takes off, angling up for the ceiling...

She breathes, her fire lighting the cavern with painful luminance... but those who recover quickly enough may catch, for an instant, a grey sky beyond, around the red edges of a portal.

She takes off, and flies away with her children, the magic closing the way behind her.]

[Childish giggling--is it male? Female? It’s impossible to tell--surrounds every blank as they heed today’s call. It’s barely audible, able to easily be ignored. But it is ever present. In the arena on the throne sits Haunted’s statue, headless as ever. Even without facial features she gives off the sense of being very pleased with herself.

Heavy mist covers the floor, giving off a strong sickly sweet scent. The smaller among the blanks may already feel themselves starting to grow woozy from its influences.]

And for good reason, because once you get there you will see that everyone's ~favorite~ judge is seated on her throne. Except -- your reflections in her statue are extra wobbly today. And Mirror herself is laughing herself silly, her words slurred.]

Oh! Oh! This will be hilarious! The faces they'll make.

[So after the most hilarious first four days in Murdercave, during which time there were two heartgames and fire and mindrape and shankings and terapedes, a new Dolphin is finally getting a tour of the less insanity-ridden aspects of Sabra.

[When they finally make it to the Arena, the darkness is fast closing in. They can certainly not see the walls, or ruined buildings, let alone who sits on the throne. The only thing they can see before them is a great marble gateway, framed by columns. The columns are perfect cylinders, and engraved with writings and poetry in every language imaginable- Sabran or otherwise.

The marble doors themselves are a little more simple, each baring the single stylized wing.]

[Today’s call is like a light touch on the back of your neck, leaving behind goose bumps. Though Haunted sits in the throne, the tacky and overly dramatic decorations are missing. Instead there is simply an unsettling stillness, and near the throne a low mist clings to the ground and the statue. The only sounds are the approaching blanks whose footsteps and voices echo eerily the closer they come to the throne.
