*this morning, it looks like someone's woken up to unfamiliar surroundings. That is, on the couch in one of the common areas of the Ophiuchus dorms. At the moment, he's looking over a note with a slightly confused expression. Do you:

3. Put it in Something else entirely?*

[A light continental breakfast covers the kitchen table this morning; delicate pastries, fluffy cooked eggs, thick lizard-meat sausages, and a selection of jams and sweet beebat honey to coat the slices of warm, buttered toast. The crowning feature is, as always, the collection of berries at the centre, each somehow known to belong to one individual and one alone.

River's place at the table is marked with a tall, chilled glass of something milky white, and a small, black velvet ring box. A second box, this one of far more ordinary construction and dyed a light, bright purple, rests under his chair.

On the job board, a posting for MONOCEROS has been added beside the still-unclaimed post for LEPUS. The toy box beside it sits empty, and the inside appears oddly worn: old and fragile, like it's ready to collapse at the lightest touch.]

*last night, if you were still up and about by then, you might have heard the sounds of a heated one on one battle, originating somewhere between the area of Lacania and Hydracula, then drifting through the tunnels in the direction of the river. Had you been crazy enough to follow and stick around, you would have watched the two combatants go at it with their all long, long into the night, far past any point where they remembered such trivial details as what started the duel in the first place.

This morning, if you wander past the scene, you might notice the trail left in the combatants' wake- gouged stone, deep furrows and torn up ground, a scorch mark of some kind here and there.... Enough to give no doubt as to the excitement that was had.

And what of the two combatants, if you were to follow their trail to its end?

....well, somewhere along the underground riverbanks, there is one young man in orange and another in blue, lying in an unconscious heap on the ground where they'd finally passed out from their exhaustion*

[A pot sits in the middle of the table today, a small candle underneath it keeping the dark chocolate within warm and smooth. Scattered among the eighteen plates and their berries are long, tonged forks, and small dishes of carefully cut fruits and bits of sweet bread.

The mission board sits empty today, but the toybox has once again been filled.]

[An irritated, tired, scratched up Link is going home for a well deserved rest. His sleeves are kind of torn up and burnt and there are claw marks on his arms, but he seems fine otherwise. Baking and fighting at the same time isn't easy 8|]

[Tonight as you return, or in the cases of some of you, might even just be waking up at this hilariously late time of day, there is a wonderful smell of stir fry on the air. For those of you who are familiar, there are marinated cuts of fatty lizard, some podlike greens and an odd, pale bittersweet fruit in some win flavored sauce. It looks tasty.

Besides each plate is a folded fortune cookie with your memory and a piece of paper in it. However, beside Ticky, Marisa and Zim's plate there is a little something extra. A package for Ticky marked: "Love, Trickster!", a MYSTERIOUS DEVICE beside Zim's and a Hero's Crest by Marisa's for a job well done.

On the job board are two new jobs, for Pavo and Lepus. The Toybox has been refilled. You guys know what to do.]
