[Once upon a time, the Old Man and the Old Woman found each other.

۞

Of this love, they had many children, powerful, wise and canny. They were the lords of the world and they, in turn, had children, and they had children, until every part of the world had some mark of them, and they, the first children, were loved in turn by those distant scions. The birds and beasts, what flew, walked and crawled, all turned their eyes and love to those who came first.

۞

As long as anyone knew, the first children or the children of many generations gone past, the Old Woman and the Old Man lived in constant harmony—until the first fight.

۞

The land rumbled and heaves, the seas drew back as if the great oceans themselves were scared.

۞

The first children cried, they tried what they could. But they failed.

۞

The Old Woman's anger exploded in light and fury. Fire and rage spread across the face of the Old Man, as the Old Woman reached out her arms to him.

۞

Those within would not die. They drew in others, fed and grew strong. Deep in the embrace of the Old Woman, the Old Man was dying but could not die. He has begun to feed as well.

It's a nice little history lesson]

I wouldn't. It's just interesting to have. I suppose it also gives us a bit of insight about where we are, which is reassuring for some.

I don't know. It's another puzzle piece. Knowing what it is doesn't mean we'll be able to use it. It just seems good to have something beyond our everyday chores to focus on once in a while.
