Still having shoulder/back pain. No more internet for us today.

Wish it would go away. It hurts.

So, I guess that means that today we will be still....all day.

Netflix and books - here we come.

Wrenched the back yesterday. Temb'r wasn't even doing anything particularly important. He just moved a little and the body went to hell in a few seconds.

The pain radiates from somewhere under our shoulder blade (aka scapula) and limits movement of the entire shoulder area and the neck. We have been icing and heating but it only provides a little relief. We have also taken some pain medication (OTC stuff) and now it has become just a waiting game - time will heal it I guess.

But last night's sleep was completely shitty. Jakrab't was out and he slept for a couple hours after using the vibrator - bless the vibrating cat toy we bought in Japan to help us through headaches three years ago because the battery pack on that thing is monstrous and works wonderfully for back pain even while vibrating most of the bed.

So, I am stuck to a chair today mostly. Probably marathoning television shows or watching movies, maybe reading a book or two (depending on who I can con to take a turn dealing with this. I am managing to get a load or two of laundry done while I have some movement this morning.

In other news, it is gonna be hot today - 86-7 degrees (F) and probably thunderstorm at some point.

I haven't been around much, huh? And it's weird that I'm seeing so many other people posting the same thing lately. We're all losing interest in LJ, aren't we? I'm on Tumblr a lot, blogging and re-blogging. (I'm sinecute over there) I do political posts as well as fandom, so, beware.

I've also been having a lot of medical problems lately. You'd think having surgery would've fixed me, but it seems to have started a whole host of other problems. Plus I have Fibromyalgia. It's pretty mild just now, but I know it may get way, way worse, which terrifies me, because it's kind of bad as it is. I don't do well with pain. I'm a wimp. And the constant fatigue is just kicking my ass.

And I'm still not writing. Ugh. Tumblr may be killing me. Also, I watch a lot of MST3k these days online. And Rifftrax. But I don't writer, or art, or post much. I read my filtered flist every night, but it's not too active lately, except with people saying they're not around much anymore.

Anyone else's mouse wheel not scrolling in Firefox since the last update? So frelling annoying.

Sorry dudes, but I don't have a YT link for you because of THIS bullshit!! After spending much of the morning in denial about Reno having misplaced and possibly thrown away our notes for our presentation tomorrow, I am just now starting to look at the powerpoint and craft new notes. Honestly, I searched everywhere for our previous presentation notes and can't find them. Chances are, we will stumble across them months from now in the place we had put them for "safe-keeping".

As you all probably know, "safe-keeping" essentially means the "pit where things go missing".

But, those notes would be exponentially helpful right now...

We are presenting first thing in the morning, probably at 9.15 am, but we almost wish it was later in the afternoon. Hoping that the audience will be small, like it was last time, but since there are three campuses involved - probably not.
