They had all been through a tough time, the past few months especially, so it's not that Mokona begrudged Kurogane a little sit down. After all, he had more than earned it, but there was truth in the saying that the sooner they were done, the sooner they could start to unwind. And by 'unwind', Mokona had hoped Fay had meant 'drink sake and lots of it'.
"Fay!" Mokona bellowed back into the room she had just been helping to tidying. "Kurogane is slacking!"
Thinking that it was all just a little too quiet (although really, given recent months, the quiet is certainly not unwelcome), Fay smiled to himself. "Hmm?" Sticking his head around the sliding door - how similar this place was to Nihon - he saw the outline of Kurogane's broad shoulders, his back to Fay as he sat on a garden bench. Not yet suspicious, but certainly curious (and perhaps itching for a little break himself), Fay moved closer, still clutching the vase he'd been cleaning moments before. "Does Kuro-tan want a scolding?"
