CURRENT HOUSE STANDINGS

First, we must applaud Derek Stiles and Mischa Mitchell, aside from the 5 points earned by Wendy waaaay back in early May, every Hufflepuff point so far has been earned between the two of them. Sadly, it seems the two of them are too nice to take house points away from the other houses too. All other Prefects, you guys are allowed to take points, eh!?



APPARITION LESSONS
Seventh years who have not yet had their apparition license yet (meaning birthdays between June - August) and Sixth years who will be of age by May (seventeen!) should sign up for their Apparition lessons. Yeah, that post kind of got buried real fast, but I've added a tag: "apparition-lessons for future quick finding purposes.



INTERHOUSE-CHALLENGE/TEAMS
Challenge has been posted as all of you are aware of. I realize I have yet to add in our two newest members, Corner and Finnigan into a team. That will be done tonight along with the new approvals tonight (or as soon as I locate my co-mod)! Either way, pretend your teams are actually larger than they are and that they contain members from all four houses. It was originally much more evenly distributed but we've had to pull out the inactive characters from the list and add new approved characters to teams that were lacking members.

I would also like to know all everyone's team names if their team has come up with something! Team One, I wasn't sure if Team Alpha was the name you guys decided on or not (but I saw Meredith using it so I'm assuming) let me know if I'm right or wrong.



HOGSMEADE WEEKEND IS TOMORROW!
Hogsmeade weekend is tomorrow:

28; Hogsmeade Weekend
This week Gladrags Wizardwear has a new line of Winter wear direct from the designers in London and Paris and straight off from the runways of Witches Vogue. Of course, long time regulars will get custom fitting and consultation time. On the other side of the road, Marty's Mystery Clothes has a sale going on for Muggle Hallowe'en costumes, special prices for Hogwarts' students after hearing of the Hallowe'en party to come.

HOW HALLOWE'EN IS HAPPENING
Halloween party is thrown by your Heads & Prefects and they have decided on the theme. A bit late and all but hey, feel free to throw tomatoes at them. :D There will be a Murder Mystery game played during the party for a couple of hours where the Murderer must be found. If you wish to volunteer your character to be one of the murdered victims, please do! We still need two more!

It should be noted that while we all know who's going to drop dead OOC wise, In Game wise it will be a surprise, even to the victims themselves. Only the Murderer knows who the victims will be IC-wise.

Both June 30 and July 1 will be October 31st for our game. Meaning all threads during that time will be for Hallowe'en. Roughly, there will be two threads created by the moderators. One for the main general party (Great Hall location) and one for the Murder Mystery game (again, in the Great Hall). They're only separated so no one is confused, if any students venture out of the Great hall (to snog, brawl, set fireworks, whatever) they will make their own threads. Er, I hope this explanation doesn't confuse anyone.

P.S. First Quidditch match is happening in November, Gryffindor Vs. Slytherin.

P.P.S. Please don't actually change the date of the entry in renascentyears when you post a thread/log (or in your journal either honestly), it messes up when they show up on the f-list and sometimes don't even show up at all which makes it a bit of a mess when we're counting house points or checking activity at the end of the month!
