renascent years - out of character

Hey guys, Jess here (Scorpius' player) I'm back again, and this time I bring to you Lucy Tabitha Holmes, a 7th year Hufflepuff. She has many nicknames, including Tabby Cat-which she has earned from her uncanny ability to climb things...trees, buildings, you name it and dare her and she'll try and climb it!

She'll answer to both Lucy and Tabitha, namely because her mother wanted to call her Lucy and her father wanted to call her Tabitha, and so she's used to being called both at home.

Five key words to sum Lucy up in a nutshell would be; cheeky, bouncy, feisty, happy and sociable. She loves a good adventure, and tends to be one of the lads at times, yet at the same time she is a total girl in the fact she loves to gossip and matchmake...so singletons beware! ;)

I'd love to get her a good group of friends established, both girls and boys, and I'd also love her to have a nemesis, because an enraged Lucy is a fun Lucy XD She adores quidditch, and is a chaser for Hufflepuff Oh, and she likes her boys *laughs*, think that's all you need to know for now! Hi all! I'm a new new person here, and I bring you yet another Weasley. (Is there no end to this family?) :-)

Me: I'm Alissa! I go by Callirhoe online (on LJ, among other sites) and Vana Tuivana for fannish things (on LJ as well, and FF.net and a bunch of other places), in case anyone might recognize me by those names (doubt it, but it's worth a try?), but please call me Alissa, for simplicity's sake. I'm twenty-one, and it's the summer before my last year of university; I'm studying English and preparing to write my honors thesis on a topic in medieval literature. What this means is that I'll be spending all my time next year in the library, but it'll be fun, I promise!

My boy is Louis Weasley, Bill and Fleur's youngest child and only son. He's got about a zillion cousins here already, as well as his twin sister! So, you know, it's just what the world needs, another Weasley. But he's fifteen, anyway, and a 5th-year Gryffindor.

Louis (pronounced, I should say now, the French way - he gets very annoyed if you call him "Lewis", but I like to do it for the lulz) is a nice boy, I promise. He's not much interested in girls, but he likes some of them, especially if they're his cousins. And he plays sports! If there is ever a football game, a race, a snowball fight, or anything... Louis will be the first one there and the last to leave. He is a very active, very sporty kid. Flying, too; he loves Quidditch, although he's a better fan than a player. He's sort of Quidditch-obsessed and knows players and stats better than he has any need to. The last of his trifecta of all-consuming interests is animals. He's much like his uncle Charlie in this; Care of Magical Creatures is his absolute favorite class. He used to want to be a dragon keeper when he grew up, but not so much anymore, I don't think.

He's a fun boy, though. He's generally nice, easy to talk to (though he definitely likes action better than words), and very, very easy to persuade into shenanigans. He's inherited both the French/Delacour high-strung temperament and the Weasley penchant for risk-taking; he fears neither pain nor death detention, so when he gets angry he tends to fight. He's extremely loyal to his family and friends, and he's a follower rather than a leader. If your surname is Weasley and/or Potter, he will do what you ask him to without much hesitation.

When he's not being his reckless self at Hogwarts, Louis moonlights as an Aussie actor named Rhys Wakefield who is allergic to shirts. Whether or not Louis is likewise allergic to shirts has yet to be determined.

So that's the short(er) version of Louis (which was faaar longer than I meant it to be, sorry); the longer one is here, if you're interested.

I'd love to backstory with you all and figure out some pre-existing relationships for Louis with other characters! I would especially love some antagonistic sort of relationships to build on, because those are more fun than hunky-dory friendships. Also: running buddies, people who can be relied upon to get a football match together when he's bored, classmates, crushes, partners in crime, etc.? :-) I'm available sometimes on chat as listed in the contacts post (AIM: thetuivana; YIM: vanatuivana); otherwise, leave me a note here and let's figure something out. I've been reading some of the game threads and it sounds really fun; Louis is looking forward to having some new adventures with your awesome boys and girls. <3

Hellooooo adoring masses everyone! Whim here, with a second character being thrown into the fray! Meet Malcolm Baddock, 7th year Slythering, captain of the Quidditch team and all around arrogant jackass. He's pretty sure he's god's gift to the world, and is definitely not afraid to show it. Quidditch is basically his life, by the by, and he takes it Very Seriously. He's a pureblood but not necessarily the biggest stickler about blood purity, although he does have latent pureblood ideals. Mal's also got a tendency to go through girls like parchment and yet still somehow maintain popularity among them. Who knows how.

Hey everyone, my name is Donna and yes, I am new. =) I might be a little slow starting off in this game because I am currently in California visiting my boyfriend and I have limited computer use right now. -__- But I promise that I wont be completely MIA and will in fact be using this computer as often as I can. YAY! I am really excited to meet you guys and hope to interact with as many of your characters as I possibly can. I am extremely friendly and easy to talk to so don't be afraid to just jump out of bushes and shove your characters at me to interact with! =) Which brings me to the main reason why I am posting right now.. my "baby."

I bring to you all, DANIEL DAESUNG KYEONG! He's a Sixth year Ravenclaw obsessed with schoolwork and pleasing all the adults around him (especially his father), and is for the most part always stressed out beyond belief. I mean, it's not that he LIKES to be obsessed with schoolwork and the like, it's just that he HAS to be this way otherwise risk the consequences from his father. He was brought up to be a learning machine and nothing else, so I am hoping that he could make some friends that can kinda teach him the meaning of the words, "FUN" and "RELAXATION." Other than the fact that he's eating, sleeping, and breathing schoolwork; he's a really sweet kid. He's incredibly caring and extremely loyal to his friends and always tries to be there for them if they need him to be. For the whole kitten-caboodle go ahead and pop over to his journal to read more on him.

I am open to anything and everything... from friends to enemies to crushes, you name it! It'd be nice if there is some backstory as well.. like a best friend maybe? Haha. Anyway, it's very nice meeting you all and I am looking very much forward to being part of this game!

'Allo, 'Allo! My name is Kelly, I am evidently new, and I am here to introduce myself as well as a new character I have brought along. His name is Dalan Williams, and he claims that you should all already know who he is. He's Chuck Bass.

Dalan thinks that he is pretty amazing. Everyone else is just jealous of how great he is. He's obnoxious, he's a jerk, and when you meet him he doesn't seem to have many redeeming qualities. That's mostly true, except if you're female. Then Dalan can be quite the charmer, until he gets what he wants. Then he'll stop talking to the girl completely.

Why anyone would want to be friends with him is beyond me, but he can possibly be a nice guy if someone were to get over the fact that he is so damn cocky. He's loyal to a select few, and he's a pretty fun guy in general.

SO ANYWAYS, basically I am looking for backstory of any kind, be it friends or enemies or frenemies, etc. If you wish to speak in great detail on this subject (you know you do), my AIM is newsuperpickle1. Otherwise, a comment would be just dandy.

HEY THERE. So, my name's Megan andddd this is... Beauregard Alphonso Smith. One of the most unfortunate names in the world, so he goes by the slightly less unfortunate nickname of Alpha... which his father picked out for him. Pretty mockable, but it's kinda one of those things where... if you grow up being called Scooter, Buddy, etc, you just get used to it and it becomes normal for you.

Why hello there, everyone! My name is Michelle, and I'm a new kid bringing you Andy Finnigan; 6th year Gryffindor Beater. Unlike some beaters we know, he is pretty intelligent, and is most likely going to pursue a career as a Mediwizard (but he doesn't know this yet, so shh!) due to his excellent grades in Potions and Herbology, the only two classes he's good at, to be honest. He comes from a very large family, with two older brothers and one younger sister, and has trust issues instilled in him by his super independent mother. These trust issues were worsened after a very bad relationship with a girl in his 3rd year (who is it? nobody knowsss) and he hasn't dated since. Pobre Andy. :( At first glance Andy is seen to be kind of uncaring and cold, but once you get past all of that he's really a pretty nice guy. He's a bit spacey as well, probably from being hit one too many times in the head by bludgers. He's also extremely reckless, and can often be found in very high up places, followed by a trip to the infirmary, his second home. IF you want to know more about Andy and his history, just go here!

Third new 7th year 'Claw girl reporting for Hogwartian duty!

Hi HI to everyone, greetings and salutations! I go by the name of Vivi, and I swear I went by that before V for Vendetta came out. I am by no means a compulsive Evee fan, well I am a fan, but only just a little! Marching onwards, I am very friendly, I've never bitten anyone and I have had my shots (since there is always a first for everything right?). You can get a hold of me on aim and email. Okay so I seem a little out there, but I promise I provide good entertainment! Oh but I am forgetting the important thing, Abbey Dixon, my character, and what a character she is. She is one that is always fabricating tales, so much so that it is near impossible to extract the truth from the fabrications. It is in good fun honest! Hi. Hiya. *waves* I haven't even gotten ONE user pic up but I saw everyone thought this group was dying and that made me sad and I HAD to say something. Even though I'm half asleep, and now Parry is taking over my head before you even know her and making me babble.

Okay. So my name is Nathalie Gracia and I bring you Parasharuam "Parry" Goldstein. I'm twenty and in college (yeck :-P) and I'm so glad to be here! Parry is your beloved head-girl. Not so beloved if you've been on the end of her hyperventilating rants. Not that she does much of those in public. She likes to give the appearance of strong and together leader. Please not apprearance. That's a major-notage, because as much as she'd like to Parry hasn't reached that point yet.

She's an only child. So yeah lol. But she's a real good kid despite how she acts sometimes. She's just a bit reserved. Okay a LOT reserved and self-esteem isn't her best friend. So expect a lot of stiff-british upper lip. But she's reliable (when she's calm) and she listens and has better insight than she gives herself credit for. Oh and she's hella smart and more than a bit ambitious then she should be for a Raven. She wants to be a healer, though she's not absolutely certain about it yet that's the direction she's going in.

Padma, her mum, died when she was pretty young. Anthony her dad, bless his soul :-), loves her but isn't much of her dad. And her grandmother is a terror. I know like two of you in this group so you'll get used to knowing that I like to have over-bearing parental terrors. Though I'm not so sure that Parry's grandmother is entirely well meaning. So the downing of her is good! Though not in front of Par. The old woman maybe a pain and frightening but she's hers. Par is pretty loyal and LOTS of forgiving.

Well. That's all I have now. Still deciding on classes but you can bet our favorite (don't worry I'll make you love her! *insert evil cackle right about now :-D*) over-achiever with a touch of the robotic bed-side-manners but a heart of gold will be taking the maximum. LOL. Yeah. She's like that. The uber loser.

I'm Dawn and I'll be playing Elizabeth Bronte, or Libby as she much prefers to be called. She's a seventh year Ravenclaw and one of the prefects. But don't let that fool you. Lib is not one who screams authority figure when you look at her (or talk to her or hear whispers about her in the halls etc :)) but she's great with the younger kids which kind of makes up for the fact that she has been known to kind of ignore classes that she doesn't particularly like. She's also a bit of a mad scientist and likes to perform experiments in her dorm room which tend to meet untimely and usually rather messy ends. She's friendly if a little goofy. Her parents are Victoria Frobisher and Shaun Bronte and she has a little sister named Olivia, who is seven.

So back to the point, Antonietta Clemente is the daughter of Anthony Clemente (muggle) and Penelope Clearwater (witch). Her full name is Antonietta Penelope Clemente, and as you can see there's a bit of narcissism on her parents part. A few important things to know about Antonietta is to never call her Antonietta, she much prefers Toni, so if you can keep that in mind you'll get along just fine. Another thing to note is if you need a tutor look no further! Toni will tutor you in anything you'd like, be it potions or astronomy or even care of magical creatures. However, don't ask her to tutor you in Divination, as she thinks its about the most useless subject ever to be taught. She does her best to make things interesting as well as clear. She plans on being a teacher once she graduates, hopefully a professor at Hogwarts. Other than that, she's a very friendly girl who will genuinely take interest in whatever conversation she is having. She's a bit on the emotional side, having mood swings that sometimes appear to come out of nowhere. Recently, her father left her and her mother for a business associate, so she's a bit more testy than usual. I think that's about it.

She's the daughter of Katie Bell and a professional Quidditch player for Ireland, Matthew Roper. She's a lot like both her parents in the aspect that Quidditch is a huge part of her life, as she's lived with it from the time she was born. She takes the sport very seriously when they're competing, but can be lax and easy going during practices and mock games. She wants to play Quidditchg professionally like both her parents, and so she doesn't always do the best in her classes.

She's friendly, drawn to groups of people, and likes to know whats going on, or going down. She gossips like almost every other girl, and she likes to meddle in peoples lives even when she shouldn't, so unless you're good friends with her, don't tell her anything. Scorpius is a 6th year Slytherin. Scorpius is driven, in all aspects of his life, but more quietly so than his father. He does however like to boast and he is determined to succeed at whatever he sets his mind to. Scorpius knows how to fashion people to his advantage-but he does so with a seeming innocence-thus his manipulation is subtle. Whilst he does possess Ravenclaw qualities ( he certainly has wit by the bucket load) he doesn't really put them to academic use. He is driven to work hard because he wants something at the end of it, not simply because he enjoys learning.

It is possible to get to know the real Scorpius, but only a very select few can say they honestly do.He has a wicked sense of humour, and can treat people in a derogatory way without actually meaning to, although it has to be said sometimes it is most definitely intentional.

There is a side to Scorpius that is actually more shy and unconfident than one might believe. He is full of bravado and show, but sometimes he does need reassurances. He follows in the footsteps of generations of Malfoys before him, and is constantly trying to live up to their achievements, despite denying he wants any of the things his father and grandfather had.

Whilst being sarcastic and cheeky, he is not malicious, and he isn't as obnoxious as his father, so it seems the Malfoy genes are slightly diluted due to his mothers influence. He's also known to have a love of pranks, although those days are pretty much behind him.

Now entering his sixth year he has chosen to study D.A.D.A, Potions, Transfiguration, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms and Arithmancy.

Now that IJ is back up, I figure it's about my turn to do this!

I'm Leigh, and I should warn you, I'm a total nut. I don't think I actually know any of you, outside of the intro posts before me (though a few names look a bit familiar), and that totally excites me. It seems like it's been forever since I've played in a game where I don't already know people. But yes! My aim is lovely obscure. Don't be afraid to im me for plot or just random bs'ing. I love both!

Onto the important bit. I bring with me Kenseigh Dumas. She's a 7th year Ravenclaw, half French, and a rather geeky jock. Usually she is really very nice and can get along with most people. Unless someone really deserves being kicked in the shins. She can also be a bit of a flirt, but hasn't had any serious relationship. But there's always room for a fling or two! He's super energetic and excitable, and also very affectionate, if somewhat short on attention; if he were a muggle kid he'd probably be diagnosed as ADD. He's not the best student, but he does try!
