Hey all, I just wanted to let you know that my internet has been acting up. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with it, but I haven't had access at home for a few days and I'm not sure when it will be back. :-( I'm only able to get on at the library for now, so if I'm absent, that's why. Pretend Louis and Bellona are, you know, around and doing things. :-)

Dawn - if you want to do that thread we discussed with Louis and Pat, now would be the time! Feel free to toss it up and I'll tag the thread when I can... hopefully I'll have my internet back soon, but if not, I'm going to be abominably slow, so I apologize in advance.

Hey guys, Jess here (Scorpius' player) I'm back again, and this time I bring to you Lucy Tabitha Holmes, a 7th year Hufflepuff. She has many nicknames, including Tabby Cat-which she has earned from her uncanny ability to climb things...trees, buildings, you name it and dare her and she'll try and climb it!

She'll answer to both Lucy and Tabitha, namely because her mother wanted to call her Lucy and her father wanted to call her Tabitha, and so she's used to being called both at home.

Five key words to sum Lucy up in a nutshell would be; cheeky, bouncy, feisty, happy and sociable. She loves a good adventure, and tends to be one of the lads at times, yet at the same time she is a total girl in the fact she loves to gossip and matchmake...so singletons beware! ;)

I'd love to get her a good group of friends established, both girls and boys, and I'd also love her to have a nemesis, because an enraged Lucy is a fun Lucy XD She adores quidditch, and is a chaser for Hufflepuff Oh, and she likes her boys *laughs*, think that's all you need to know for now! So I've finally? actually? really? whatever, I've done a third character figure him out amongst yourselves ....


I kid. I kid.

I present you with Emmory Justin Finch-Fletchley. Call him E if you have to call him anything at all. Don't call him Em. Emmy. Emily. Just don't. Don't call him Ory or Rory either. DOn't. At ALL.

Emmory is a Hufflepuff and he is sarcastic, not very social, and always busy doing something. He puts the work in hard work! Idle time is wasted time to E and if he isn't doing something he will find something to. Usually that something isn't socializing. Spending most of his time with his grandmother who says anything to anyone, E needs to work on his social skills. Not that his grandmother has bad skills (she just chooses to ignore them sometimes) and not that E actually says anything. No, cause he really doesn't. At all.

E isn't big in saying anything, unless it's important and it is usually cutting. E has the "deficiancy", and he truly views it as such, of stuttering. Horrible stutters. He's gotten control of it. But when he's upset or nervous or the like they come about.

He's a good kid though. He'll pull through for you if he need him to. Stand up for what he thinks is right. And he can make a mean soy dish. Oh, yeah. Ha. He's vegan! But he's a good cook. So maybe one day on his death bed he'll make a meal with meat? :-P

The biggest thing to know about E other than the way to win his heart (or at least his respect) is to do your own homework and know everything about the Gin Blossoms ... is that he's keen on the human observation. He doesn't really acknowledge it, but I suppose it makes sense that someome who doesn't speak much watches a lot. He'll either be a psychiatrist (nah, too much of a skeptic, but he does have enough patience ... surprisingly). or a politician like his dad. Tis why he's a hufflepuff ... yeah, I know :-P

Plot? Backstory? Friendlies. A couple of close friends? Irritants? People who try to pick on his stuttering? Oh and um, no girlfriends. I think he might be asexual ...

Hi all! This is Alissa, who has Louis Weasley already, and I'm delighted to present to you a new character.

Bellona Rosetti is a seventh-year Hufflepuff. She's cold, standoffish, and sort of a bitch, honestly. But she's intensely clever (especially in things like Arithmancy and Ancient Runes, and History of Magic), and intensely ambitious, and also intensely loyal, once you've earned her loyalty. She's not into Quidditch, modern music, fashion, or anything like that. However, she does play the cello quite well. If that counts in her favor at all, I don't know, ha.

I being Dawn for those who aren't mind readers. I bring you Graham Forrest.

He's a sixth year Gryffindor which means we have another sixth year and another boy...and this one won't surprise anyone by romancing one of the other blokes! :-P

He's the other Beater on the Quidditch team which is somewhat odd considering the boy is an idealist. But he uses sports to channel his aggression because he's a bit like the Incredible Hulk, you wouldn't like him when he's angry. He likes to hit things and they tend to break. Thankfully, it takes a lot to make him angry.

He's a good sort but he can seem pretty...intense. He's a boy of extremes.

So backstory? Plottage? All is appreciated.

I will be going on  haitus starting today,and until the 17th. A summer project i never got around to doing and a ton of other things will be causing this haitus, sadly. But I will return! So let's say Andy is plotting terrible things and Abra is just being Abra. Have fun!

The wayward mod is back, Lux has tracked me down... she didn't need the hounds though, honestly... If you guys can find it in you to forgive me, I will be more than happy to jump back in and help Lux get this boat sailing again.

Modly business
And since I'm back (but not yet caught up, give me... a day) I'm putting on the modly hat and bringing in snow. Lots of snow. It's December anyways and I forgot to mark it on the calendar but for the next few days, Hogwarts and surrounding areas will be experiencing light flurries every afternoon. This is the sticky snow, the perfect type to build snowmen and snow forts!

Annnnd, apps will be tackled in the next few days hopefully ♥ Thank you for being patient.

For, like, failing at life and activity and such. I've been crazy, crazy, crazy busy. I'm going to try to get active again, and remain active... I hate it when people are like "oh yeah, real life got in the way" but it's truuuue... and I officially feel sympathy for those people who say it. I've barely been on the internet lately, at all, and usually only to check my email and such. It doesn't feel possible that it's been 4 weeks since joining this game, but apparently that's so. MY BAD, SERIOUSLY. Sorry about like... disappearing and crap, I didn't mean to. I... just kinda... suck and all.

So. Right. Giving this another go, although if I can't keep active, I'll of course bow out and free up the characters. But, hopefully, that won't happen. SO. Right. I also play Alpha, in case some of you are like "who the fuck are you?" and stuff. And... I never actually backstoried Rose, because I got her at the beginning of my ridiculous inactivity streak.

Rose Weasley. Or Granger-Weasley, according to Rose. She's fairly intelligent. She's kinda bossy. She's more than happy to tell her relatives what they should or should not be doing. She's not a HUGE fan of pranking people, unless of course it's in retaliation for something horrible they did... such as insulting a member of her family... She studies, probably too much, andddd.. yeah. She prefers to be Rose Granger-Weasley, 'cause she doesn't think girls should give up their last name just because they get married...

Hey guys, just a heads up that it's my graduation ceremony in a couple of days, so tomorrow I'm making the 7 hour trek back to my university for it, and I won't be traveling back till Saturday.

Scorpius is furious with me for taking him away from the game so close to the quidditch match, but err, just explain his absence with the fact he's 1)Keeping his head down and avoiding James, and 2)He's either out practicing for the game, or getting as many early nights as possible.

If I don't get back till late I won't be able to post on Saturday, but if that's the case I'll be about bright and early Sunday morning, sorry guys!

Sorry folks, I know I've been MIA for a bit. I'm having some computer issues with my desktop and I haven't brought it in for fixing because the warranty has run out awhile ago, and since old computer is old, I'm stuck between wondering if I should just invest in a new one or pay less to get the old one fixed.

I'm on my laptop currently (and totally piggybacking on the Internet of my neighbours which I hope they don't find out about D: ), which I'm not quite used to using and since Internet is unpredictable, I'll be ridiculously slow in tagging back. Slow aside, I am here and will be tagging back those challenge threads slowly!

I won't be on AIM though, because like I said earlier, I'm piggybacking and there's no AIM on laptop, but if anyone has any questions/comments just leave a comment or e-mail [tearlesereph @ gmail.com]. I'm SO sorry to the folks I have yet to BS with :( I'll tackle you all as soon as I figure out what I'm going to do with my computers.

Anyways, enough about me and onto modly things. Tomorrow is the first Apparition lesson for those who signed up for it. I'm not going to put up a thread for it, if the Halloween and Challenge threads are anything to go by, group threads would probably take awhile and I don't want to have another open thread hanging for weeks. The details are already in the calendar and if those with the lessons want to set up a thread for themselves, feel free :) Otherwise, Great Hall closed from entry except for those taking their lessons. There will probably be quite a few ministry folks & instructors seen in Hogwarts whose presents may or may not bother those who are not taking lessons.

The next biggest even this week is Quidditch! The first match of the year, Gryffindor vs Slytherin will take place on Saturday. July 19 = November 19 if anyone is unsure about the date still. For this week, Madam Hooch will be opening the field for scheduling practices, Captains make sure to schedule in your practices before the rival team steals all the spots! Don't forget, due to the recent snow storm last week, there's still an abundance of snow that has not yet melted all throughout the field (especially the field since no pathways need to be shoveled) and the weather is still freaking cold. Early mornings and late evenings are probably the chilliest, especially in the air at high speeds. Your team will probably hate you if you schedule the practices at those hours!

Sorry, this post is tl;dr so far, but last note here: this be important, yo! For the results of the quidditch match, I need everyone to comment with three numbers between 1 - 50. By everyone, I know at least half of you probably won't even read this post (hiss!) so the extra numbers are for those who don't read. Just three per player, not character. AND, I need you guys to vote here for who should catch the snitch. In the comments section of that LJ post also has the actions that relate to each number, so you guys are basically choosing what happens during the quidditch match without knowing what you're choosing and for which team :D The actions/results are already posted in the comments and screened. I'm choosing LJ for this because IJ has a habit of randomly making comments disappear to random entries.

For those of you without an LJ, you guys can still comment with open ID... or anonymously and just sign your name at the end. Try not to choose the same numbers that someone else already picked.

HELLO ALL. It's Michelle again (known for the creation of dear Andy Finn) and I've been a bit MIA lately (I have yet to reply to all my threads, sorry!) but here is a new character for you guys anyways! So many, teehee.

Meet Abra Dunstan, sixth year Hufflepuff and party queen. She's semi-insane, but not enough so to cause too much damage. She's very bubbly and energetic, but a bit socially awkward since she has no filter for what comes out of her mouth. Whatever she thinks, she speaks. If she thinks your shirt is absolutely horrendous; she'll tell you. Have an atrocious zit right in the middle of your forhead that nobody's had the heart to tell you about? She'll be sure to let you know. To put it simply, she acts liek a child. Despite her lack of filter, she manages to make friends, and she puts her whole trust in them. She trusts most people to a dangerous extent, where she can be easily hurt and manipulated. She's as loyal as a dog, and can keep a secret better than anyone else.

Abra's not very good with a wand, which is a bit odd considering she's a witch. She tends to be a bit more 'muggle' than the average witch or wizard, and often feels a bit out of place. iN addition, she abhors homework and refuses to do it, thus, her grades are pretty poor. She's good in CoMC (because there's neither wandwork nor homework) and the only class she does her homework in is History of Magic.

She loves parties and can be seen at any and all that happen to occur around Hogwarts. She also loves adores and cherishes her persian cat, Jack. If you hate him, she hates you. End of story.

It's Dawn with a new character! Yay! I bring you Patrick Ashford. Hufflepuff, artist and James Potter's best friend since they were seven.

Let's see what's important to know about Patrick? He'll answer to Patrick, Pat or Paddy though you may have to say it a couple of times in order to get his attention because he can be a little...distracted. Feel free to read that as a bit spacey sometimes. He's usually in on the pranks though he might try to stop things if he thinks someone might get hurt, he's all moral like that.

He's definately a flirt but in a "I'm so adorable I might make you want to barf way" not in a cocky way. He knows that he's not bad to look at but isn't really aware of just how good looking he is. So if he goes all "aww shucks" it isn't a line, he really means it.

He doesn't care much for his studies but he's a serious artist, preferring Muggle techniques to magical. At the moment he's enjoying charcoal sketching and oil portaits the most. And just because he doesn't like classes doesn't mean he's stupid. His mum owns a book shop and he's actually very well read.

I'm dying to work more on Patrick's back story so please help me out. Who loves him? Who hates him? Who wishes that he would do his herbology homework? Let me know.
