Status; incomplete

All the students were to be lined up in their respective teams and ready to face what they would be once the doors opened. Of course, each team was to go in team by team and wait until the previous team finished before the next team would enter. They were also told to be quiet so as to not accidentally assist a different team – though there would be no chances of slips, there was a competitive feel to the air.

The challenge would take place in one of the DADA classrooms, the largest one and currently both Headmistress McGonagall and Professor Longbottom was standing outside. The former faced the students with an impassive expression while the latter was giving encouraging smiles all around.

"Untouchables," the Headmistress announced, "it is now your team's turn to enter the room. I do hope you have all prepared. And good luck."

The room they were ushered into was dark, so dark in fact that they would need to provide their own source of lighting if they were to see more than three feet in front of them. There was also a dank, musty scent that was usually not found in the room, as well as a light breeze when supposedly there were no windows in the room. Now, what will the team do?

Aston gave his team a once-over, biting back a sigh, as he took to the room first, leading the way. Whether or not they had decided he was the leader -as it was unclear if they had actually voiced or voted him to be or it just fell in his lap because the majority were rather indecisive in their decisions- he was basically it for now and so he had to lead.

Upon entering the dark room, Aston raised his wand. "Lumos," he commanded, lighting a portion of the area. He could only hope that what they would see wouldn't be completely shocking.

It was dark, darker than he could have imagined and easily the darkest room he had even been in. He whipped out his wand and automatically whispered, "lumos" so that he could at least see something, that's when he noticed he was standing next to Aston. He then took a few steps forward when the smell of the room hit him full blast, he coughed a bit. Allergies.

"I don't see anything, do any of you?" he asked quietly, just in case something bounded out of the darkness toward them if he spoke any louder. He continued to observe what he could of the room, raising his wand and squinting into the gloom.

Mischa wasn't really known for taking leadership, she didn't want it, so she was glad when it fell to Aston...though he didn't seem entirely too pleased about the situation. Still, the smell was clouding her senses a bit. It was horrid, and the light didn't really show them much, or maybe her eyes were still adjusting, "I don't see anything either, but that smell is awful," she commented. She wasn't exactly known for having a strong stomach.

She took a few steps toward the boys, accidently stepping in front of Aston, though she hadn't meant to put herself in front of anyone really. She peered ahead, but she could see very little, "I suppose we'll just...walk forward?" It seemed like the best option, even though she really wasn't interested in getting closer to the smell.

"I don't see anything either," Gabriel commented, keeping his voice soft. He watched for a moment as Mischa took a few steps forward-- her blonde hair more visible to him than anything else in the room. He considered that for a moment as she stepped in front of Aston. The thought that it likely wasn't a wise move tugged at his mind, but he didn't particularly want to demean her by asking her to stay behind them.

He held his own wand up, adding to the rather pitiful amount of light with the mumbling of the already-well-used spell. Gabriel stared to wander towards the left of the group, not with the intention of walking away from them, but rather he was walking towards where he perceived the wall would be.

Patrick didn't like this whole thing. At all. He was convinced that he was going to let people down which was the last thing he wanted. He knew that, when it came to the practicals of being a Wizard he wasn't the greatest. He wasn't a squib by any stretch of the imagination but he also wasn't well gifted. He whispered a lumos spell and waited to see what was to happen next.

Unlike the set of the rooms before them, Untouchable's room was a room right off the bat. Its walls were black, painted or perhaps covered with fabric as the light from their lumos didn't seem to reflect off from it. The slight breeze was still coming in from the front although the smell simply surrounded them like a haze. There is no furniture in the room.

Possibly, the only thing to do in the room would be to investigate just how far the "walls" go, or if there was anything behind them. That, or follow where the breeze was coming from.

Aston shook his head in negative response to the question. So many pairs of eyes and no one saw anything if indeed there was anything to see. The smell was indeed awful as Mischa commented, but he didn't bother to agree when she moved past him. Usually in cases like that - if she really wanted to be cannon fodder - he wouldn't have objected as it was every man for himself. But she was his teammate and he actually tolerated her better than most of the other prefects (though he would question her tastes in dating the Head Boy), he put a hand on her shoulder. "Mischa," he whispered. "Try not to get too far ahead. We'd break into smaller groups if we could see where we're going, but since we can't, it's safer to stay together."

He caught the sight of Gabriel investigating towards the left, and spoke up so the entire group would hear him. "Something's got to be giving off that odor," he said with mild disgust. "We should find out what it is... if its the victim of an attack or the attacker itself, as it will give us more clues to why we're here."

Mischa had to admit that she was slightly surprised by the hand on her shoulder, the whispered advice. Especially seeing as it was coming from Aston. It was oddly comforting, the weight of someone's hand on her shoulder, someone that seemed to be, against all odds, trying to protect her in some odd way. She nodded, "I think that's for the best as well," she whispered back. Mischa didn't make any further move to go forward.

Her eyes widened slightly at the mention that it could be coming from a victim, "They wouldn't hurt anything or anyone for this, would they?" the thought alone made her feel a little light headed. She tried to shake it off, reminding herself that it would do them no good if she were just dead weight.
