DRAMA RP drama is inevitable. However, this doesn't mean disputes can't be handled civilly between players. If players are unable to end a dispute between themselves, they should contact the moderator at browneyedharpy at gmail dot com.
Individuals that start drama will only be given one warning before being dismissed from the game on the second offense. The same is true of those who are found to be participating in and/or encouraging drama. There will be no exceptions - drama will not be tolerated here.
OCs/GODMODING No godmoding. This should go without saying.
OCs are allowed. (They're part of the collective of thoughts, as you've thought of them. You're the one that made them real!) Simply please include a bit more detail in your application than you would for a canonical character.
OCs may be the children of existing canon characters. (IE: Batman's daughter from his one night stand with Thor or whatever can show up.) The canon character may react however the mun sees fit. The OC was brought to life in their own right, just as the canon character was.
SPELLING/GRAMMAR Both spelling and grammar are important, so looking over your post before hitting submit never hurts. If you use Firefox, there should be an inline spellchecker already installed on your browser. With this, your browser will point out misspelled words as you type, à la Microsoft Word. This should successfully prevent a majority of spelling issues.
IC VS. OOC CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE The old adage about OOC knowledge not being IC knowledge is not always true in this game. If it's a fact about your character known in fandom, then other characters may know it. For example: Jayne calling his gun Vera, Kirk being a manslut, Sylar being psycho. However, if it's a private thought they have, part of your characterization of them (not canonical) or something that goes on once they've arrived, it stops being public knowledge. For example: Jayne going commando, Kirk tripping after he arrives, or Sylar liking the Care Bears. If you need help with this, please ask a mun!
CHARACTER LIMIT There will be ONE version of a character. Period. If Billy got to them first, they're taken. Even though your Dean Winchester may come from a universe where his mother was part unicorn and he's now pregnant with Sam's assbaby, if someone else has him first, he is off the table.
SHIPPING Anything goes here. From the fluffy to the gross, the straight to the gay, the heteronormative to the genderfucked, from the eggs to the chickens, the platypi to the evil geniuses - er. Well. Yes. Bring us your ships, and we will watch them make out.
PBS While PBs are encouraged, we know a lot of people are artists and may have drawn out things. That's awesome! Feel free to use whatever you feel comfortable with.
Multiple characters with the same PBs are allowed. These characters were only recently made real. Plus, since actors take multiple roles and people see certain characters with certain actor's faces, it's all right. Characters can feel free to react. The mods may place a cap on a certain face if it gets too much.
PLOT Pretty much anything goes unless it’s something that will affect a bunch of characters not solely played by you. (No giving the black plague to everyone else, for example.) If you have a burning sensation - er, desire - to do something like that, please let one of the mods know so we can see how everyone else feels about it. Gamewide plots you agree to are fun. Gamewide plots that sneak up on you are creepy. STOP BRINGING US THINGS AT SIX AM, PLOTS.
JOURNALS The characters have journals that they use very much like regular online journals - there’s a community set up just for them. (Oooh, how creepy!)
Entries posted in journals are viewable to everyone unless stated otherwise.
Strike-outs are readable and indicate text was marked out but is still able to be read. Bolded strike-outs, however, are not and represent text that has been scribbled out. Privated text should be formatted as follows:
[Private to Recipient's Name Here]
Text here.
[/Private]
It should always be assumed, unless stated otherwise, that if a private is not addressed to your character (s)he cannot "break into" the other characters' journal.
Make sure to clarify the recipient(s) of a private addressed to certain characters. Saying something like "close friends" is too vague. Instead, list the names of those the private is addressed to. Established character groups (such as those on the character list), however, are acceptable.

THREADS
Thread headings should be formatted as follows:
Who: [Who's involved this scene.] What: [What they’re doing.] When: [Where they are ... yeah, I know, this DOES seem silly.] Where: [... yeah, not going to bother with that one] Warnings: [This one is actually key. If there is wild monkey style pornographic dealings contained therein, a headsup for those who are bad, bad people and read this sort of thing at work would be awesome.
