It is all much as he’d left it in 1978, with one notable exception: where once he’d roamed the corridors of the castle alongside Sirius Black, now he hunts him down. I'm sorry that the cross-posting has come so late! We were trying to work out the kinks on LJ before cross-posting over here. However, from now on a post with the art/fic and a link to the polls will be posted nightly with the Livejournal post.
However, before I begin the cross-posting, I think I should make a little note on voting.
Who Can Vote: Anyone with a livejournal and/or Open ID account.
Who May Not Vote: Anyone participating directly in R/S Games... i.e. Authors/Artists/Mods. Also, those without an Open ID or livejournal account cannot vote because livejournal won't accept them. However, you can always leave a review anonymously in comment form!
Who May Review?: Anyone besides the mods of rs_games! This is to avoid any sort of bias and/or accusations of bias to form!
How Should I Vote?: The first two questions on each poll can be judged impartially. That is to say, you can dislike the piece but still appreciate how they used their genre/prompt. The third question in each poll "How much did you like this story/art overall?" is where you can vote using your personal tastes. Please vote consciously - we work very hard to average out each poll by hand and don't appreciate troll/null votes.
Also, please read the warnings to each story/picture... if it is not something you would normally read or would not look at please do not force yourself to read/look in order to vote! It's not fair to the author/artist/mods/yourself!
Other than that - two pairs (two works from each team) will be posted everyday for voting (Except for tonight, in which we'll be re-post a set of fics from last Wednesday.) Feel free to vote/comment at your convenience/discretion.
Other than that - please have fun and enjoy yourselves!

After a lot of research and a bit of hair pulling (mostly our own hair)... we came to the conclusion that team communities are either going to have to be on Insanejournal or Livejournal. For communication purposes they just can't be on both. Seeing as the majority of the participants signed up over on Livejournal we thought it would be easier to host them there.
We are, however, archieving both team communities on seperate private accounts here on Insanejournal. We also plan to cross post everything from the rs_games account on Livejournal to this one for safe keeping.
However, for those of you who signed up here on Insanejournal, we ask that you either make/give us the username of your account on Livejournal so we can give you access to the team communities. Unless, however, you are alright with completing your tasks without being part of the team community.

• Sign ups are now open and will be until 11:59pm, EST on March 2nd.
• A preliminary schedule can be found here. Please do not sign up if you don't think you will be able to make the deadlines.
• This is first come, first serve. The first authors/artists will be guaranteed a spot on their team of choice. If at the end of sign ups we have more applications than we were anticipating then we may up the amount of participants allowed to play. NOTE: If you are one of the last people to sign up you may not get a choice of teams... it depends on how many participants we already have on each team. However, please put your prefered team in your application anyway. We'd like to be able to put you where you want to be.

Sign-ups begin tonight, but here is the preliminary schedule so that you can see you can see what all is involved. Don't worry, it's simple and fun and you'll only have one fic/work of art due per round! (But you may certainly create two!)

March 6th, 2008: Round 1 Prompts/Genre Claim List is Opened.
At this point you can choose your prompt and genre.
March 11th, 2008: Round 1 Prompt/Genre Claim List is Closed.
This is your last chance to make up your mind!
March 12th, 2008: Round 1 Members' Prompt/Genre Table is Posted.
Now you know what you're working on and it's time to get creative.
May 6th, 2008 at Midnight EST: Works (fics or art) for Round 1 are Due.
Voting for Round 1 works will take place during Round 2!
Round 2: Speed Round (More Details Will Be Released About This Round With Round 2's Prompt Claim Post.)
