Wes could hardly contain himself as he slid the code on his wrist bracelet over the reader on the clinic door. Other people may have been heading straight for the bar, or the laundry room. He had only one destination in mind.

He wasn't disappointed. He made short work of his investigations of the clinic, getting his bearings. It was a damn shame this place wasn't open all the time. Still, he had to work with what he had. So, he started by putting together two bags of emergency supplies, one for each block. That would keep him busy until he got some patients. Or even someone who wanted to call in for a chat.

Who: Reggie
Setting: Morning, Kitchen then Room 42

Reggie admittedly almost fell over when he realized just what was going on today. OK, not full admittance to the other side, but this was at least a start. As sad as it sounded, he was more than willing to play along for a little game to actually get to spend time with Jason in person, even if it was just at the bar for a few hours.

Jumping away from the computer, he actually found himself running down the hall before he'd barely realized that he'd left his room. He actually found himself in the kitchen, wildly enough. After looking around for a minute, he grabbed a whisk, heading back to the hall and, after checking to see where no objects had been placed, stuck it in front of the door to room 42. He had NO idea who lived there, honestly. Still, everyone had to get one of these, right? So who cared.

Who: Reggie and Open
Setting: Workshop, Block B, Afternoon

So, Reggie figured that he probably should get over to the workshop and do as Jason suggested, which was giving his mind something to think about other than the fact that he was locked away from the person he wanted to be around most right now. The junker car (which was turning into a little bit less of a junker bit by bit) should be more than enough to keep his mind occupied.

Today was engine day, he decided, when he got in there. It was something complicated enough that it would need all of his concentration and his mind couldn't wander too much. Like how a part of him was wondering if he was getting excessively attached to Jason at too quick of a rate. Or the fact that another part of him didn't give a damn. He'd never felt anything remotely like this about a person before, and, while he was unwilling to put any sort of label on it at the moment, he knew that it was something important that needed to be dealt with rather than locked away from.

Eventually, his mind did wander a bit, causing a wrench to slip out of his hand while he was staring at the engine and, comically enough, drop down on his foot, causing a litany of swearing that, if anyone happened to be watching on camera, was probably quite funny.

Setting - Just outside B block elevator.

Roberto stepped out of the elevator - at least he could see now that his blindfold was gone. Whoever removed it must have disappeared quick as he didn't see anyone. Roberto looked around, there was nothing familiar. This definitely wasn't prison - or at least not the one he'd been in for the last 12 years, then he realized he was holding a piece of paper. He didn't remember receiving the paper, but upon looking at it, it seemed to have a room number.

'39' He muttered to himself, as he began walking down the hallway to find it. As there were no other instructions, he figured that must be where he was supposed to go to. Maybe there he'd find some clue as to what was going on.

Setting: B Block Courtyard

“What’s going on? Where are you taking me?” Anne Marie answered, receiving no answer as she was shuffled along. When everything became still, she waited, tensing when the room began to move. An elevator, she decided, and was still a moment more before slowly reached for her blindfold, surprised to find her hands free. That wasn’t the only surprise, she quickly found. She was alone in the elevator. It felt like some kind of trick. She picked up the bag and waited nervously, almost expecting a firing line to be pointed her direction when the door opened. Instead, there was no one. That was almost just as bad.

Setting: Theater Room, Block B, Mid-Morning

After getting adjusted to his new living state (in a new block, no less), Reggie knew that he was too agitated to sit around in the room and possibly set it up how he'd like. Not that he knew how he'd be doing that, since he didn't have any of his bloody stuff. He really hoped that he'd be getting his clothes and things back. He couldn't walk around in what he'd been sleeping in last night forever, among other things. He was just glad that he'd actually chosen to sleep in a pair of pajama pants and a wife beater. He'd have looked ridiculous if he'd slept in his underwear or nothing at all.

While he wandered Block B, he quickly realized that there had been a new room added, and ended up looking around the theater room, of all things. Well, when he did get to see Jason again, they'd have to make use of this place. Much easier to use rather than simply trying to watch something on his computer (although that had not been without its own charm). It was something that put a smile on his face, though, which was a good thing. He'd been in an angry mood all morning from the rude wake up call on, so anything that helped to relax him was a good thing.

"Even a popcorn machine. Nice," he said as he looked around more. Seemed like they had been set up quite well again. He supposed now he understood a little more about why they'd been locked away in their rooms the day before.

Characters: Everyone at the Masquerade
Setting: The courtyard, evening-night

The decorations had been set up with the help of a ton of people, music was getting played, and there were costumes for everyone. The night was going to be great, hopefully, just what everyone needed. Autumn looked around from the second floor balcony, and smiled, thinking this couldn't be better. It was exactly what she'd wanted it to be.

Adam had picked up Kyle and headed down to the bar early to help set up for the game. It turned out, Jeremy had been up to quite a bit the night before, round table already set off to one corner and chairs pulled around it. There was a box of decks of cards and chips behind the bar as well. Even Kyle settled easily enough, off to one end of the bar with a coke that he wouldn't let Adam add rum to. So, Adam went about emptying the dishwasher, putting glasses away while he waited for Jim and Jeremy.

Zach had the book, David Copperfield, open in front of him, reading it. He'd made significant progress in the few days he'd had his hands on the book, and despite Ru's challenge, he'd still spent a significant amount of his time alone, but for now he was enjoying the peace of being outdoors, and not confined to his room. Sometimes, that was nice, comforting in a way that four walls could be, but other times, he wanted this, to feel as if solitary wasn't necessary.

"'Nicole continued talking. She told me quite a few interesting stories, some of which I decided to use myself, either as stories or poems. I watched her breasts as she bent forward and poured drinks. It's like a movie, I thought, like a fucking movie.'," Mojo read easily from her seat at one of the library tables, leaned slightly back with a smile on her lips a cup of wine in one hand, and her book in the other.

While he was never one to enjoy the simplicity of work, or the constant need for it, Jeremy was rather pleased by his job. It was inconspicuous, his clothes actually fit in behind the bar itself, and he was a natural with it, which meant time could be better focused on watching his patrons. It was an interesting collection they'd locked up in this new place, and he had a goal to learn as much as he could. It was the only way to determine who was useful and who wasn't.

By late afternoon the bar was open for business, low music playing on the provided sound system, and Jeremy was behind the bar, going through their stock again, sorting what was what, fedora perched back on his head.
