When Jason got up, he had to read the computer message twice. It wasn't a complete lock down lift, but he would take it. At least this was a chance to get to see Reggie again. And the faster it got done, the faster the basement would be opened. Quickly getting dressed, he headed outside. With the tool shed right in front of him, that was where he immediately headed. There wasn't much thought involved, beyond realizing that leaving a hammer or a saw might not be the best idea. Grabbing a screwdriver, he headed back out. Heading over to his old room, he set the screwdriver by Edan's door. There was no real reason for picking her, beyond the fact that giving a screwdriver to a stranger would just make a weird task even more strange. Satisfied he had done his job, he headed back to his room to type up his clues. Hopefully, they would get this task finished quickly. They only had until midnight, and he wanted as much time as possible with Reggie, even if it was only going to be at the bar.

After getting his things back from Edan, Jason went back to his new room. No one had claimed the few things that were in there yet, so he carefully collected them, setting them all in one place. He'd hang on to them for a few days, see if anyone claimed them, and if not, he was sure there were some people here who could use them. After that, he put his own things away. Once he finished, he got changed into some real clothes and ventured out. Time to see what was really going on.

The decorations had been set up with the help of a ton of people, music was getting played, and there were costumes for everyone. The night was going to be great, hopefully, just what everyone needed. Autumn looked around from the second floor balcony, and smiled, thinking this couldn't be better. It was exactly what she'd wanted it to be.

Jason wasn't entirely sure about this whole masquerade ball thing, but it had sounded like it could be fun and, most importantly, Reggie had seemed interested in it. So he had headed out to the cafeteria, because apparently, costumes were mandatory.

The problem was, he had no clue what he was doing. He stared at the racks of costumes, not really sure where to start. He had only ever really dressed up for anything a grand total of... six times. Maybe. Only one of those times had he been concerned about what someone else would think about him. And none of them had involved... masks and all. He sighed, rolling his eyes at his own hesitance. This really shouldn't be that difficult; he was making this harder than it needed to be. Knowing that didn't make it any easier though. Crossing his arms across his chest, he began to wander down the rows of costumes, hoping something would catch his eye.

"Understand that I am neither prosecution or defense," Wu said as he looked over the jury, "I am not here to argue these cases or answer your questions relating to them. I am here only to present the basis of each. Anything more, you must ask the law enforcement staff or the accused themselves."

He was as composed and unreadable as he'd ever been, pacing around in front of the long table that situated the jury. His temper was coiling with impatience, but this wasn't the place for it to come loose. "In the case of fights, of which there have been several, keep in mind that guilt may be assigned to both parties for taking part, and that sentencing ultimately rests in your hands as well. Neither verdicts or sentences must be unanimous, only held by a majority. Let us begin."

After lunch with Brady and grabbing his QR tag from the cafeteria, Jason headed back to his room. Going to the gym didn't really sound as appealing as it normally did, but then again, neither did most of the things he had been doing to pass time. It was actually the weather, warm as it was, that helped him decide to go check out the pool. If nothing else, it would be good for burning off some energy. Changing into the pair of swim trunks he had but hadn't used yet, he pulled on a t-shirt, grabbed a towel, locked his door behind him, and made his way to the pool. When he got there, he was actually a little surprised to see that no one else was there, given how warm it was.

Leaving his shirt and towel by the side of the pool, he jumped in. For a moment, he let himself sink under the surface and just sort of float under the water. Staying still might not be something he was good at, but for some reason, it was a little easier under water. The moment passed though, and the desire to do something returned. So, with little else to do to burn off some energy, he started doing laps up and down the length of the pool.
