	there really aren't, she had a brief stint on wwe or whatever but that was some years back and no one gives a crap about her now and barely did then, no offense to her or anything, but i mean she's not even famous so idk why someone would rp her (Reply to this) (Parent)

	i don't mind saying bc its never been a big deal to me but amy dumas, stage name "lita" her dad was married to my mom years and years ago, so she hasn't technically been my stepsister for a long time but I've always kept in touch with her and billy who was my stepbrother and I was shocked and weirder out to see someone playing her in a comm (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Lita was more than kinda huge when she was in the WWE. More like shoo-in Hall of Famer someday. One of the least obscure female wrestlers of all times. She's one of the very few women to have had her own DVD and promoted merch page. Her bio made the New York Times Bestseller List. She guest starred on TV shows. Rolling Stone did an article on her. She showed back up in a two-second appearance on RAW late last year and the fanbase not only knew who she was still, they unanimously crapped their pants with joy.

You're either utterly full of shit and this is an attention troll, or you didn't bother to google your ex-stepsister's name before you posted.

not an attention troll in any way, shape, or form, i was very young when her dad mike was hooked up with my mom, amy was sort of a geeky teenager, her brother billy was zit-faced and awkward, and her father was a baldish lush who thought he was awesome at singing james taylor karaoke. he was the first guy my mom hooked up with after divorcing my dad so needless to say the relationship wasn't extensive or long. i never personally paid much attention to amy's wrestling career, she was a lot older than me and i don't mean this as any offense to her but i've never cared about wrestling its never been my thing. obviously i knew she got into the wrestling world and her stage name was lita but other than that i never paid much attention to her career, when we exchange words its more 'how is your mom doing?' and 'how is your dad doing?' and that's how its been for years, she's normal to me. she was only famous in the genre of wrestling, not universally famous so it was a pretty big WHOA WTF when i was looking at a community's taken list and saw her name on it, as i vented, "why the f is someone playing my stepsister?" ex-stepsister technically, but whatever. its a weird and creepy thing to see

Addendum: If you're creeped out by that, I seriously advise you to never websearch for the fanfic some people have written with her.

Also, obscure is roleplaying an indie wrestler who's never been featured in a nationally-aired company... and tons of people are doing that right now. Wrestling's a big fanbase, if kind of in its own little bubble of isolation sometimes.

But celeb in general the way I see it on IJ and such DOES creep me the fuck out, generally.

	there is nothing that would possess me to want to read wrestling fanfic so i'll take your word for that lol i don't want to know what people write! and that's my point, its its own fanbase so if you're not into it, i guess you don't have much of a concept of how 'huge' someone is within it despite who they are in your life (Reply to this) (Parent)

and this is why celeb is just way too creepy for me. everybody is somebody's parent/child/sibling/cousin/etc.

i have a cousin who was a well-known actress in soaps and then on a very popular tv show years and years ago. while i doubt anyone is roleplaying her, since she's pretty much dropped off the radar the past several years, it skeeves me the hell out to imagine anyone playing her.
