St. Margaret's Academy
not your average boarding school
Rule #1 - Keep your fangs and claws to yourself: no snacking on any of the student body.
Rule #2 - No magic in the hallways. Rule #3 - A full moon is no excuse for not having made your homework. After bidding farewell to the departing graduates, St. Margaret's and its remaining students and staff enjoy a well-deserved break. Some vacation to far off places, and others stay to participate in the school's summer courses. New students are already arriving, and in a little over a month, the '16 - '17 school year will commence. What will this year hold for St. Margaret's? Open since 2013, St. Margaret's Academy is a supernatural game taking place at a high school in Maine. We are seeking original and creative characters, especially weres, vampires, humans, and witches. Enrol your progeny today! |

» PANDORA has lost her box. Amidst the chaos of the DC universes, her powers have begun acting of their own accord, and in an attempt to locate the Box and open it once more, she has inadvertently pulled people from all over the world, gathering the in what appears to be Nanda Parbat. With no locals to confirm the city is even real costumed heroes and villains alike are being pulled from their every day lives. In some cases their family and friends join them, but it remains to be seen if this is a blessing or a curse. Pandora herself is currently missing, but her box is somewhere hidden in the city. If it falls into the wrong hands the consequences can be devastating. It is now up to every random being drawn by her powers to work together to find a way back before it's too late and, hopefully, along the way recover the box before it can be used against all of Earth. |

The United States government has requisitioned a team of top scientists from across the country to work in secret on a classified experiment now known as Project X34. The goal of the experiment is to figure out how to genetically modify humans in a permanent fashion, keep the subjects from perishing due to modification complications, and to fully test the functionality of each modification using different scenarios in hopes that they will be able to implement the procedures into specifically chosen, small, squadrons in each branch of the military. The general public has no knowledge of this experiment nor will they in the future. Subjects are chosen at random and just seem to disappear off the face of the Earth, never knowing exactly why they have been chosen for such a project. To prevent subjects from going rogue, and to keep an eye on the status of each subject through each scenario, each group is placed into a large-scale dome-shaped area that is inescapable complete with twenty-four hour continuous surveillance by cameras that are unable to be discovered. The first six experiments of this nature have failed; seventy percent of test subjects in each dome expired due to effects of their mutation, twenty percent due to scenario testing, and the other ten percent were properly disposed of by those running the project. This is their seventh and final try before the project is restaffed and the scientists themselves are disposed of to prevent information leaks. They have tweaked their formulas and testing procedures and have decided that by focusing on smaller numbers there was a chance of a much higher survival rate, though they do not expect all subjects to last for the duration. Sixteen people have been selected from various locations though it is unclear to participants if there is a link they all share or if they were chosen by sheer chance and misfortune. Some were kidnapped off the street; some came from places where they were being held against their will. | |

There's been a shift in the City!
More like: there's been a shift in a couple of rules and player-based things. We've restructured a bit and are trying to format the game to be more like a GPSL in feeling, while having more of the coherency and mod-involvement of a game. We want WC to be a sound place with rules that keep others from dropping logs or causing drama.
We've also altered some other things.
1. We are no longer requiring the propitiatory journal names. If you want to use the i_ journals because you already have one, or you like it, it's welcome. But it's no longer necessary.
2. Our posting requirements have been changed to give more leeway. Now we just ask that you finish one log a month with each character you've got.
3. We now allow AU characters, and you can pull characters in from other games. (OCs are still out, though).
There are other, smaller, changes to the rules, so have a look. We'd love to see new players, and we'd love to have players return!

 Howard Stark had a dream to create a school where the best and the brightest could shine. Charles Xavier had a dream where mutants and humans could peacefully coexist. Each opening schools where such dreams could come into fruition, they would forever change the world, as would the students and staff that would find their home there.
After surviving everything from the Mutant Registration Act to a HYDRA invasion of New York City, it seems that things are finally settling down. The X-Men debuted as a team to help bring mutants in need to the Xavier school and also promote peaceful coexistence. The world appears to be at peace, even if it is far from perfect. Even Howard Stark's tragic death earlier this year doesn't seem to have much of an effect on the students of his school or of Xavier's, but their world is about to be rocked again and this time it will need to be avenged. Now is as good a time as ever to join MARVEL PREP as we begin to transition into a new chapter of the game where the world will need more than the X-Men to save them. DESPERATELY SEEKING
