I'm joining the masses of people not having Journalwatcher not work for them.

I downloaded the insanejournal uploader and using the instructions here I went to turn of the UAC but I can't find it in the control panel. I' on Windows 7 if that helps.

I did try using the uploader without that but it didn't work either.

icon uploader - inksome

While I know inksome isn't exactly popular I editted the original multiple icon uploader in order to use it as one of my games is over there now and I thought it would be nice to share it.

Inksome.com multiple icon uploader!

I have tested it and it works for me so I assume it'll work for everyone. If not...um, I have no idea because I just changed some addresses and downloaded the inksome page and prayed it worked so... yeah, hopefully it does!

Transfer Icons from One Account to Another and Upload Multiple Icons

Journal Watcher is a great alternative to the icon uploader programs out there if you're having problems installing it for whatever reason. Under the cut there's information on how to create a zip for uploading multiple icons.

On top of having a Multiple Icon Uploader, there's an Icon Archiver. So, if you want to transfer icons from one account to another, the Icon Archiver will provide you with a zip file of a user's icons. The filenames of the icons will be the icon's keywords. Just enter the screennme here where indicated and you'll get an e-mail with the link to download the zip. Save it to the desktop. Then you can upload the zip by starting at #8 below.

MAC IJ/LJ/SCRIBBLD ICON UPLOADER TUTORIAL :: PICTURE HEAVY!!!

I think this works for Windows too, only you guys use the black pop up window (see the bottom of this post), and we use a program called Terminal. Just a run down of how to use the mass-icon uploader. I wrote it when GJ was around so the pictures are of that.
