Currently, I'm working on revamping the look of this journal (as well as the character information), but I've come across a some issues with the layout I'm using.

1. How do I hide my name?
2. How do I make my icon round, give it a border, etc.?
3. How do I get a dashed border around Navigation?
4. How do I link Customs, Threads, and Phone?

And this last one isn't coding related, but where does everyone go to find those nifty previews of iPhone covers like this?

Does anyone know of a way to re-set a journal? For example, remove friends, remove icons, delete journal entries, delete notifications?

well, i tried to get this question answered prior and even looked more in depth to other people kind of in the same boat as myself but alas i've had no luck! that being said, can anyone help me acquire a layout like THIS or THIS? i know it's likely modified from ~coding but i don't even know how to begin achieving that look nor how to properly embed the fonts! any help would be greatly appreciated!

hello there, long time reader first time poster! i come to you in need of some serious layout help. i will easily admit i understand the bare bone basics of html but not the fancier coding a lot of layouts seem to have anymore. as such i really want a layout that looks like this one or this one. i tried to figure out how to get them by following this entry that was recently asked about but i can't seem to get the coding to look right or i can't get the google fonts to work for me. any help would be greatly appreciated!

townsquare has an awesome layout, it uses CSS I get how the layout and everything is made BUT my question is - there's no Insanejournal code anywhere in the source code.

Okay I'm sure this is super easy and I'm just NOT GETTING IT, but I'm still learning S2. And all the little names confuse me, why the hell can't it just be HEADER, SIDEBAR, SUBJECT, all this alpha beta gamma stuff was invented to confuse me And I'm wondering what element controls the current (location/mood/music). I'm creating a layout for a game and I would like to shift them so that the currents are at the bottom of each entry, just above the tags. Take pity on yonder village idiot?

Is there a way to add tags to a S1 layout? Tags are fantastic to have, but we can't figure it out!

Okay, so I found THIS LOVELY layout and made a few minor changes to fit my CHARACTER JOURNAL here. Maybe it’s because I’m tired and ready for bed, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to make it so the mood theme icons display right. Verses being cut off by the dotted/dashed line that separates the entry from the ‘comment’ links.

ETA-
I would even settle for finding a way to make the mood theme images to disappear on the 'recent' page.

Hi all! I've decided to code my first Bloggish layout for this game I'm making (this is the mod journal/layout). What I have is still a WIP but I have a couple of questions first.

-> How do I get the layout centered? I feel like I'm missing something obvious
-> I'd prefer the side bar on the left but I'm blanking on that too. I know it has something to do with the alpha, beta code but I'm looking at the tutorial and coming up blank.
-> The calendar, syndicated, powered by are set to display:none in the code... But they're still displaying.

So, while I'm no longer rping (RL got in the way) I do still check around here a lot. I mean you guys are so epic, how can I turn this community away? It's pretty much the only reason I'm keeping my Insane Journal account, having moved on to blogging over at Live Journal.

I was wondering if you wonderful people could point me to some tutorials on how to create your own style on Live Journal? I'd like to learn how to make my own journal layout. I can do basic editing on other people's stuff but I think it'd be epic to make one that is all my own, you know? So, my lovely minions friends, please send your links of epic this way. :)
