Currently, I'm working on revamping the look of this journal (as well as the character information), but I've come across a some issues with the layout I'm using.

1. How do I hide my name?
2. How do I make my icon round, give it a border, etc.?
3. How do I get a dashed border around Navigation?
4. How do I link Customs, Threads, and Phone?

And this last one isn't coding related, but where does everyone go to find those nifty previews of iPhone covers like this?

Does anyone know of a way to re-set a journal? For example, remove friends, remove icons, delete journal entries, delete notifications?

I’m sorry to post again so soon, but I have a question. Has anyone else run into this problem, when they use coding (even just a basic html table) inside a post?



Is there a way to fix this, so that the entries (upon comment/view page) show up normal?

Alright ~rp_tutorials, I have a question. I can do this basic scroll over popup text box on an image:

Is there a way, however, to break the text lines? Whenever I try it shows up perfectly in the html preview, but once I'm done with the html the sentences get smashed together: <~ when I preview this post there are three individual sentences in the text box, but when I review the icon in the actual post it becomes all one lone sentence. Help?

Also! I looked through the tags, and I know this exists but I can't find it. There was a post that showed how to have an icon image change when you rolled your mouse over it. Does anyone know where it is? I looked in animations, codes, extras, guides: image editing, resources: tutorials and a few other tags. Maybe I looked it over by mistake?

I'm not sure where else to ask, but I've seen the simpleviewer photo galleries used on webs pages before, with pictures of a house and the layout, etc. I downloaded the simpleviewer program as well as Picasa, created the gallery, and when it pulled it up in my web browser it loads just fine. My problem is when I try to get it from my computer to a website. Here are the instructions specific to Picasa, and step four is where I'm having the problems. Where am I supposed to upload it and how exactly do I get the information to put it into a webpage? I'll be using webs.com for it if that makes any difference!

What is the easiest way to make a website into a usable code? For example, kickstarter.com I want to make a kickstarter project page for a character that's a musician but I've never made a code from scratch before. As of right now I just have a bunch of screencapped images for his page, but it's getting to be a pain to edit and reupload the pictures every time. I can give a link to a project page if need be.

How do you incorporate fancy text with shadowing behind it? I just want to put it in a basic html code, it doesn’t need to link to anywhere. I’m just trying to figure out how to make fancy shadowed text.

I was just curious if, aside from FOAF/mbox checks, anyone had any tried and true methods for determining if two different accounts are made by the same person.

My game has been spammed by people like this multiple times over the past year and I'd really like to put an end to it, so any tips would be great.

Okay. So. Here's the deal.

I'm putting together this GPSL revolving around a secret government agency type thing, right? And all is fine and dandy, until I come to the journal layout for the mod journal/comms. I sit here, thinking to myself "it would be really cool to have a layout that kinda looks like the Style Contest layout "Top Secret" only a little less lame. My thoughts immediately sprang to lobelia's lovely diary layout, only replace the diary with an open file folder (journal entries scrolling on the right side, nav on the left)

Only ... I am terrible when it comes to journal layouts, and just the thought of trying to piece this together myself made my brain throw a temper tantrum.


So, that being said. Does anyone know of a similar-like layout anywhere? Or would anyone be willing to whip something up?

So, short of getting some extra space and transferring my tens of thousands of icons, does anyone know of a image host that handles file names like Photobucket? That is to say, an image host that let's me choose the file structure and preserves file names? I've been using Photobucket since the dawn of time my GJ days and I had to pay to make it work about 2 years ago, but now it's just not working or if it does, it's loading at the speed of dial-up or worse. :/

I've run into a bit of a hiccup with a Scribbld layout and I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction to correct whatever error/mistake I did. The character layout has been tweaked to look like the character journal and the problem I've run into is that the webfont for all the headers is not showing up and I'm not really sure why since I haven't fiddled with the link one iota. So . . . I'm really not sure what's going on with it. :T

Got another generator layout question, LOL! Does anyone know how to change the website, userinfo and calendar links?

I'm so sorry if there are a lot of typo's in this post or I just don't make sense. It's late, I'm grumpy, I have a headache, and I'm this close to crying out of pure frustration. :( I've lost track the number of hours I've been working on this faux-IM box and the top row is driving me crazy. So. I'm using one of these bad boys right here and I've run into a bit of a snag while tweaking the code. Under the cut I have a screen cap and the code that I used to tweak and add an extra row and cells for the "Click for more info." links. The issue I'm having is with the span tag where I've specified that the link not have an underline. Did I do something wrong or am I misusing (mis-using?) the span tag in this particular case?

On the general generator layouts, does anyone know coding that could replace "post comment" with something more custom titled? As well as to add a "# Comments" sorta thing, also with the ability to change what it's labeled?
