It's less a case of RPT 'closing' per say, and more a case of Chaperoned outright saying she no longer has the ability or drive or time (whatever the case may be) to fully moderate, contribute or give attention to RPT. Fundamentally, this is a place for resources, help and RP fun stuff. But it does also need attention.

RPR is what RPT inspired, and Chaperoned already said a new comm was welcome and gave us the thumbs up on posting this here, so clearly, she's fine with it. If you wanna cross post, cross post, no one is saying otherwise.

But in the instance that Chaperoned does change her mind about keeping RPT up and available for people to go back through, then RPR is still there to go to for help, resources and advice. And really, since the first 30 posts on RPT are simply 'help' and 'question' posts, maybe a new comm with a new lease of life is what's needed.

People move on, people stop playing, it's likely better to have a comm modded and run by two individuals playing actively on IJ than not.

Like I said, none of this is saying RPT is gonna vanish or 'die', misleading or not, it's been a ghost town around here, so we're trying something, with Chaperoned already saying she'd rather see a new comm than hand over RPT. So, that's RPR.
