Charles Grey's titles don't fit in this box. (shadefifty) wrote in rp_clue,
Lord Charles Grey, on the other hand? He was more annoyed than anything else. In the wake of the murder investigation all outside tours and excursions had been cancelled, and Charles was already starting to go a bit stir-crazy from being stuck inside the hotel. It was a lovely hotel, to be sure, but if he'd wanted to lounge around in an enclosed space, he would have gone on a cruise. He wondered if he'd get his money back -- not that he really needed the money, but it was the principle of the thing.
For lack of anything better to do, he'd slept in on Sunday, making up all the rest he'd missed the night before, especially with his bright-and-early interrogation. He still wasn't completely over that. Nevertheless, he put on a refreshed face as he entered the dining room and looked for a place to sit. There, Charles spotted the charming American girl sitting at a table by herself. "This seat taken?" he asked. He didn't bother to wait for a response before sitting down in it.
