"I haven't had the occasion to talk to the detective. I hadn't realized Jacob was dead until I came down for breakfast this morning," Conrad replied, shaking his head. "It's such a shame, isn't it? The poor man, he seemed so nice. Do you happen to have any idea what happened? A freak heart attack or some such other thing, perhaps?"
