RP: Surprise at home
For who: S and Les
Where: Home; Orlando
When: 3:50 p.m.
Summary: He couldn't wait to give her her surprise. It was something she had been wanting every time they passed the shop.

He checked on the baby rabbit in the cage and smiled, seeing it was asleep. After Les and him had ate, he had went back to the pet shop and bought the white bunny with the gray on top of its head. He'd then bought the necessary supplies for the bunny, like bowls, food, and such. Then he had splurged on toys, a carrier, a leash, a bed thing, treats, some fun places, grooming stuff, and more. The man at the pet shop had even said the rabbits were liter trained which he was so glad for, so he had gotten a liter box as well. He didn't really care that he had spent quite some money because to see the look of surprise and hopefully happiness was all worth it.

Glancing over at the clock, he checked the time. She should be home soon. Dinner was going, her favorite, and dessert was in the fridge, ready to go.

Les walked into the house minutes later and sat her bag down near the door. "Scott? I'm home," she called and started to smell her favorite food cooking. Mm, chicken parmigiana with pasta and garlic bread. It smelt so good, she smiled and looked around.

"In the family room, baby," he calls to her with a soft grin before opening the cage and takes the bunny out then puts it in its carrier so it would be ready for her.

She grinned and walked to the family room. "Hey so I found a new little area to check out with you sometime," she grinned as she walked into the room. She looked over at him then spotted the carrier and cage, her eyes widening and a grin forming on her lips. "What's this?"

He grinned at her as she walked in. "I can't wait then. This," he held the carrier to her. "Look inside and find out," he said with a soft grin.

She grinned at him, raising an eyebrow before walking over. She looked into the carrier and blinks. She blinks again before looking at him with a big grin, "you got me a bunny?"

He chuckled softly and nodded. "Mhm, I did, the one you pointed out today," he grinned at her. "I kind of also went on a splurge of supplies, toys, etc too," he motioned to the bags and boxes. "Oh and he's liter trained too."

Les was very happy at that and leaned up, kissing his lips. "Thank you so much, Scott," she grinned happily at him and looks into the carrier. "I didn't know they used liter, all I knew was that they stayed in the cage most of the time and such. That's great news though," she grinned at him then looked into the carrier to see the bunny.

His eyes were clear and bright and he looked healthy, which was a good sign she had read. "He's beautiful," she grinned at him.

Scott kissed her lips back softly. "Very welcome, baby," he grinned at her, glad she was happy. "Yep, found that out and I figured it was muuuch easier. Plus, I got a play pen too so he can stay out while we're home."

He watched her with a soft grin. "He is," he grinned at her.

Les grinned at him and nods, "that is much easier. I think he'll like the play pen to run play around in too. Have to make sure to change his food and give him fresh water everyday." She nodded to herself and grinned at the bunny. She remember someone mentioning at one time, you had to let the bunny get used to his new environment before really handling him often, so she would give him a couple of days. "Hm, now I'm going to have to find a name for him," she grinned at Scott.

She grinned and looked at him, "I'm going to name him Pancakes." She nodded, liking the sound of it. Course she might have gotten the idea from a certain show she used to watch once or twice in her teens, but it was a cute name regardless. "Yes, Pancakes. What do you think of that, Pancakes?" she grinned softly at the bunny inside the carrier.

He chuckled softly, "Interesting name, baby." He grinned and watched her, glad she loved it. Plus, a rabbit should be easier to take care of and all that as well.

"True, true," he grinned at her. "Do you want me to set the play pen up for him and put down the mat and litter box? That way he can run around or what not. Can put his sleeping bed thing in there along with some toys."

Les nodded with a grin, "I would love that. Did you get a little blanket for him too so he can go there too? Hm I'm going to have to get some wood for him to chew on too if you haven't already."

She took the carrier from him so he could go ahead and do that.

Scott nodded with a grin, "I did, baby. Um I got everything in those bags. Think there's wood in there too. Basically bought a lot." He grinned at her before walking over and grabs the box with the play pen and starts on that.

She couldn't stop grinning, she had always wanted a bunny and he had gotten one for her. God she was lucky to have him in her life and lucky that he loved her as she did him. "OK, thanks handsome, very much." She sat down on the couch and set the carrier down next to her before watching him with a soft grin. "You're going to spoil me, I swear," she grinned teasingly softly.

He grinned over her, "No thanks needed, baby." He took a seat on the floor and started to put the play pen together. "Mhm, I have many plans on spoiling you," he grinned over at her.

She laughed and grinned at him, "Oh? Do you now? What do these plans involve?" She grinned teasingly at him. She was definitely not used to the spoiling part, but she thought she could get used to it.

She pouted cutely, barely holding in her grin. "Aw, alright," she sighed playfully and opened up the carrier, holding her hand out for the bunny to sniff. She grinned softly as the rabbit slowly came over and sniffed her hand but didn't move any more.

Chuckling softly, he laid out the pad then set the play pen over before getting the litter box and fills it then puts down the bed and some blankets before pouring food in one bowl then gets the water bottle from the cage and puts it on the side of the playpen. Next, he gets the toys out of the bags along with wood ones and puts them in the playpen. "There we go," he grinned over at her softly.

She grinned over at Scott and nodded, "looks great baby." She slowly withdrew her hand from the carrier and closed it. She stood and carried it over to the play pen and set it down inside before opening it up, letting Pancakes come out when he was ready to explore.

"Welcome to your new home, Pancakes," she grinned softly at the bunny. She watched his nose twitch and slowly move out of the carrier.

Les really hoped Pancakes would be happy here and be a part of their family. She was very happy with the bunny and grinned over at Scott before watching the bunny slowly start to explore it's surroundings. "I hope Pancakes likes it here," she grinned at him softly.

Les grinned softly at him and kissed his lips softly. "I love you, Scott," she murmured against his lips. "I am so very happy right now. Happy with you and both of our new additions to the family," she grinned softly at him and laid her hand on her stomach while watching the bunny start to move around.

The beginning part of the day was forgotten in her mind as she relaxed against him.
