[Clark had heard that something had happened to Nightwing on the evening news in Metropolis. That was bad enough. So he'd hurried to Gotham and was waiting until things settled down before he went to see Bruce.

He knew his friend was hurting, and he knew his friend was worried - and that meant Clark was planning to stay awhile.

He made his way to the Batcave, and when he saw Bruce he smiled a bit.] I've been taking up space in your guest room, and I didn't even ask permission. All grievances can be filed with Martha Kent. [Not making light of the situation at all. Just opening the conversation.]
