Re: Hotel -> Lost: Jules & Kitane
No, no, West Egg. I don't think they had any western eggs. And western to what? Everything has a western something. [She bopped her head to the song and hissed in a breath when Jules mentioned stairs, her little boot clad feet jumping away from the door like it was a hot potato.] I don't see a beach. [One hand went to the door jamb for balance as she stuck her head through and breathed in deeply. And promptly coughed.] Smells like clean. No beach. [She let the door shut behind her.]
I went to China once and they called me western, but when I lived in Las Vegas, China was west but we called it eastern. I don't think people know directions. Or how to use a map. [Kitane, on the other hand, could barely read a map, but was very good with directions. All those little squiggly lines. If you wanted to go west. you went in the direction of the setting sun. If you wanted to go east, you went in the direction of the rising sun. North or south was up or down, respectfully.]
We're going to have all the fancy drinks in all the coconuts. We might just have the coconuts. Mmmmm. [She smiled like an extremely pleased cat.] Next door! There has to be a beach somewhere!
