Re: Hotel -> Lost: Jules & Kitane
[Jules was suddenly lost in a bundle of energy that had been turned up to 11. Sure, Jules could run with the big dogs when it came to hyperactivity, but this wild hug threw her for a loop. And off balance, but thankfully Kitane had forseen the inevitable. Having come almost straight from practice, barring one conversation and the whole packing thing, Jules was still beat up. The combination of being nearly tackled one way followed by the slamming of her bags into her back when she was righted again forced a pained sound out from deep in her guts.] Hngghhrrhgg. [In spite of it all, Jules still had a big smile on her face. It had been a whole lot of never since someone had greeted her with that much enthusiasm, and hot damn Jules liked it. Someone actually wanted to see her. It was a very pleasant change.
Her words came out fast, gunning down Jules and giving her very little chance to respond. This is what all the boys in the locker room must have felt like when she would get up in their face like this. Strange being on this side of the mirror. The grin on her face spread like an infection, and Jules put away all the bad stuff that had happened earlier to focus on all the good that was about to happen.]
Party! [She hooted, and stumbled over her feet when Kitane yanked her. Not so much because she wasn't expecting it, but because Jules had a penchant for the overdramatic. It came with the territory when one was a professional wrestler. Also being able to be lead around by someone on the fly. Jules never thought that would be handy outside of the ring. Today she was proven wrong.] I think we need fewer clothes if we're making people jealous, but first the hunt for cabana boys! Also pina coladas. I've always wanted to sip a pina colada on the beach.
[They moved deeper into the hotel, and Jules seemed unimpressed by some of the doors that they passed.] Not a single one of these looks like it was thrown up by Jimmy Buffett. I think that's what we need. A one way ticket to Margaritaville. Oh! Do they have toucans on the beach? They seem like a very beachy bird. I'd like to see a toucan. [A pause as she debated what she had said.] Not beachy, tropical. I don't really know. I've never been to a beach before. I don't consider Lake Michigan the beach. Have you been before? To a real beach, not Lake Michigan. [Her ramblings rattled off quickly, but she was curious about this new person that arrived in her life and this was the Jules equivalent of getting to know someone. Toucans.]
