[Sharon was staying at The Pierre, but for all purposes of work she was staying at the Plaza. Which was fine, she'd be inviting some people over later to make a real big show of staying here. They liked it when she did things like that, for whatever reason. But there was no question that the beds were more comfortable at The Pierre, and the middle of the night cake was just one of the perks. And possibly its one pitfall.

But it was around 3 PM, so the coffee lounge was filling up for its afternoon tea service, but Sharon had requested a table in the back corner, far from that. It was there that she sat waiting for someone from admin services to come and tell her something that probably didn't want to know. Or something that she knew 100 percent of the reasoning for but couldn't tell anyone. This should be fun.]
