Still, the DARK KNIGHT made no secret about being the one who cut the power out by leaving a messy batsignal painted on the side of the building. Why would he go after such a place? Because Stephanie treats the very mob goons he's trying to get rid of.]

[Gotham is all about whispers, and the whispers in the early morning hours, after the tussle at Stephanie Nashton's East End clinic, is that a certain vigilante in a red hood and a certain cat in slinky black met at Robinson Park at sunrise. Oh, there was a backdrop of sleek black cars and men in dark suits with very impressive guns, but the encounter is said to have been downright friendly. The terms flutter down Gotham's sidewalks and alleys, more whispers: Hood, it seems, has promised to bring the Families the body of this fake little Bat in 72 hours. In exchange, the Families will halt their attacks as a show of good faith. It is, after all, a holiday. But if Hood fails, all bets are off, and the threat made with lush red lips is one that would make any Gothamite shudder. But no one really wants to see the streets run red; it's bad for business, after all. The Families retract the offer of protection for anyone that brings in a body for the same 72 hours. Who said Gotham couldn't play nice?]

This Gotham stuff is insane, are you okay?

[While the truce between the Families and the Bats becomes well known, it doesn't stop the anger and resentment from the community. A report goes out that the father of one of the police officer victims showed up at the police precinct to meet with Commissioner Gordon. When there, he shot the Commissioner, who was narrowly saved by Officer John Blake. The assailant was shot down before he could try again, and the grief and unrest in the GPD only grew. Gordon is being treated at an undisclosed location, but the message is clear: supporters of the Bat don't have only the Families to worry about.]

What: Holly wanders into the wrong abandoned building, gets offered a place to stay.

When: Vagueish, basically while the disappearances are happening in Gotham.

[Was this a date? Kevin wasn't actually sure how this went. The last woman he had liked was a lesbian, so that had nixed the possibility of a date right there. They were still best friends, and he had still loved her more than a best friend should, but that was that. He wasn't really sure yet how Wanda felt or how this went. But why not give it a whirl?

Besides, he liked cooking, and he liked Thanksgiving, so of course he'd like helping out the night before. She didn't even need to tempt him with wings for him to ring the bell of the mansion.]

[There was a lot happening in Gotham for Alfred to keep up with, and he had to do his best to keep up with it. There were a lot of people with really complex relationships that he didn't know, but he was doing his best to try to make things run as smoothly as possible under the circumstances.

But someone shooting Gordon? That was hard for Alfred. Whether this was the Gordon from his world or not, Eddie had already unintentionally confirmed that he was the same incorruptible man that Alfred knew. One of the few who came to Bruce's funeral. Alfred wanted to offer support in turn, and Bruce had shared the location...and flowers. Flowers from Bruce for Gordon.

Alfred shook his head as he knocked and let himself into Gordon's room, after getting thoroughly questioned by security. Rude.]
