Whelp superheroing doesn't actually pay the bills, plus occasionally a lot of down time (that I don't mind knock on wood), so I'm going back to the PI business. If you know anyone who needs it in NYC, send them my way. No case is too small.

Just throwing this out here that we still have space at the mansion if anyone needs to crash. We also have our own gym and simulation room for training. Also I haven't had a good match on the pool table in a long time. In the past people sort of come and go as they like if they don't need a permanent space. If you'd like to see it for yourself just out of curiosity let me know.

It was time to deal with something she'd been thinking about for months, but the time had never been quite right, and things hadn't settled down enough. Now, though, it seemed as though things had temporarily calmed down, if not in regards to team politics, and so she was on her way to Dr. Banner's floor. In the elevator, she stood directly in the center, back rod straight, staring at the doors. When they finally opened, she shifted, taking a step forward to exit.]

The body of a man whose body was found charred to the point of collapse is eventually identified on Thursday. The DNA used to put a name to the pile of ash came from a bloodstain near the door rather than the corpse itself, which was so badly damaged as to render DNA collection impossible. The man was a well-known member of the Falcone crime family, responsible for a lucrative loan sharking business in the entertainment district. He was renowned as much for his friendships with prominent celebrities as he was for his alleged cruelty to those who could not pay him back. Stories circulate about a man who has to wear a prosthetic hand after his dealings with the dead man, and of a poor mother whose child was struck and killed by a 'drunk driver' when she stopped making her payments.

Thursday night, a child in the Narrows nearly rolls his skateboard wheels right over a fat, upturned frog laying on the sidewalk.

After so many murders of criminals in the weeks before and after the takeover of the city, the authorities are still reluctant to admit to serial murder. It can no longer be denied, however, that the bizarre series of murders by drowning, burning, and amphibian smothering do appear related, and they confirm to the public that it looks like they have at least one serial killer loose in the city, preying on its criminal element with biblical malice.
