[News: Marvel]

[On the heels of Captain America's morning run-in with the media mob outside Stark Tower, and his subsequent rescue by Tony Stark's new executive assistant, Mary Jane Watson, the internet explodes with rumors of a sexy new affair. Forget the anonymous man at the fireworks!

ONTD posts several close-up photos of well-known party girl and bombshell MJ Watson with her arm looped through one of the public's favorite heroes' arms. Her dress is bright orange, the brand of her heels is speculated upon. Captain America glistens with sweat from a morning jog, his jaw looking particularly nice in the morning light.

Is Captain American perhaps not as wholesome as advertised? Or has Tony Stark's personal sex kitten lured him into darker ways? The man and woman stand close, intimately close if ONTD is to be believed (and they do look cozy!), leaning on one another, and him with an obvious expression of what looks like relief or joy. A handful of blurrier photographs are published on other gossip sites of the pair inside the lobby of Stark Tower, shot through the windows, of Watson and Rogers still entwined in one another, before eventually disappearing into an elevator, her arm through his.

Neither Rogers nor Watson have commented on the blossoming of their alleged romance, and calls to Stark Industries have gone unanswered.]

[Later that night, on more reputable news sources, dark and grainy phone footage of Captain America, regaled from head-to-toe in red, white, and blue, is shown as a clip, with running commentary wondering just what he had been doing. He's seen climbing up the fire escapes of a building Chinatown, before breaking and window and entering the residence.

The very last clip is of Rogers straddling his bike before noticing the camera on him. He waves with a smile and rides off, back toward Midtown.

Members of the online gossip community blog about whether this has something to do with Mary Jane Watson and her partying ways. Had she a boyfriend who lived in this dump of a building? Was there someone Captain America needed to cross off?

There is some buzz that the building was home to known Avenger ally, Dr. Bruce Banner, but it gains little traction on the forums where sordid tales of romance are already being spun.]

[Locked to Selina K. Journal style. Sloppy fast handwriting.]

I'm sorry I failed you. I'm sorry for everything. Don't worry, I'm not coming back once Tony's okay.

[Locked to Tony S]

Sorry I couldn't bring you the things, I had notes so maybe Mary Jane could bring them. Tell me if there any emergencies.

[MJ Watson]
[Peter's dufflebag worth of stuff is gone when she gets home. There's a note:]

Hey, I want to avoid the awkward so I'm moving in with Aunt May to help out around the house. I meant all that stuff I said.

Talk soon?

Peter.

[Public]

I have to admit, a life without Rhino is a good life.

[TWD]

What's going on? Where are you?

[Avengers+, added later]

Anyone not currently incapacitated or on another mission, get the hell to the zombie door.

Hotel Lobby: Rescue Rangers

WHO: Jessica Drew, Natasha Romanoff, Carol Danvers, Jo Harvelle, Sharon Carter, Bucky Barnes
WHAT: They go looking for the zombie door with Jo's help and cross over
WHERE: Hotel for now!
WHEN: Same time as zombie land drama.
RATINGS: probably not high here!

[Jess wasn't cavalier over the situation, although she pretended to be to keep everyone bantering. It was highly possible once they crossed the door, they would be stuck there for months, maybe longer, hell, maybe forever. She'd never actually been to the hotel before. It was an eerie place. She'd risked a lot more than this to be at Carol's back, and she knew that Carol would do the same for her. This wasn't the first or last time the Avengers took risks in order to save each other or innocent people. It was just an emergency now that Carol lost contact with them. So Jess showed up at the hotel, not in her uniform since it was probably going to stand out in zombies. Instead she was dressed for normal combat, with her hair pulled up into a pony tail and a real gun holstered. Just in case. She could fly so she was more likely to use her real powers, but you couldn't take the Hydra out of the girl entirely.

She looked around and waited for the others to show up so they could start looking. Time was of the essence.]

Locked to Loki

Sir, an interesting development you should be made aware of. Carol Danvers has requested aid for those in the TWD door. Romanoff, Jessica Drew, and Bucky Barnes are all going to assist. Stark is still out of comission in the hospital and I am unaware of what Banner is up to.
