Dickie Narrative - Then a phone call Who: Dickie - Phone call to Babs Where: His house in Gotham City When: Nowish What: Being a kid was weird - his kid being a bigger kid was weirder Warnings: Nah
Dick had never been the "you're grounded until you're 40" type. And he didn't want to start now, but he was fighting it as he went through scores of fake IDs and boys' phone numbers.
But considering his 8 year old was back to being 8 years old and was sound asleep in her room safe and sound, he didn't have much of a leg to stand on. He just figured he'd be sending to her a nunnery first thing in the morning. With that decided he went about trying to piece together whatever had gone on with him, his siblings, the rest of his family, and he wasn't finding it overly easy.
He was getting pretty sick and tired of the whole age up, age down, turn around, and be someone else, then be a new person, type of thing that kept him on his toes way more than any city full of villains ever had in his entire life. But he also knew there was no fighting it, no point in it, no winning. There was only really putting one foot in front of the other. He was exceptionally good at that. So he picked up his phone and dialed Babs, no matter what the situation was, how old either of them were, she'd clue him in. She could be a toddler and still likely be able to clue him in.
